  • 0:13 - 0:15 felt perfect for some reason

  • even EVH is using it after the MXR stereo chorus :-)

  • Is it true bypass?

  • @RipzMan24 Yes!!

  • @RipzMan24 no it's not. it's buffered bypass, you can see it on the manual

  • @MaxtheMetalhead great song but I didn't hear it in what he was playing

  • dexter reference?

  • @itsguitarmanrourke if i remember correctly, on their website they pretty much admitted it's the same chorus, just without the ZW art, for people who want the chorus pedal but don't like ZW.

  • 2:56 Fountain of Lamenth?

  • Best review ever, no BS talking. Thank you. Oh yeah, sweet chorus.

  • Too much knobs for me ( dear santa, remember my micro chorus ...)

  • why are chorus pedals are always blue?

  • @gomer1021

Because they tend to be associated with a shimmering under water type sound. The Corona Chorus pedal is green though.

  • MXR should pay you for the demo!!

  • @submarineofdoctors They're the ones who posted it. :) (MXR = Dunlop)

  • Would be awesome to see (and hear) on off these videos of Fullbore Metal.

  • Nice Video!

    Is this True Bypass???

    Please tell me.

  • @MrSpiritualKnight everything from MXR is true bypass, also analog.

  • @Asterophium

Oh, friend, that is wrong information.

Last year I ordered a Effector Builder to modify "MXR Stereo Chorus" to true-bypass.

And yesterday, I required a guitar shop about analog chorus, that is not true-bypass.

    plz note, friend. :)

  • @Asterophium LOL not they are not... there is a big difference in HardWire Bypass and TrueBypass... also TrueBypass in all your pedals its not the best idea ever....

HArdwire Bypass suck ass... just put a fuzz before your mxr pedal" and hear how the pedal changes the sound being off....

  • Best intro ever :)

  • now this is finally a chorus that is useful and unsigned ;)

  • can this particular pedal be applied for bass ?

  • 1.56 was the sound I am looking for.

  • nice camera work

  • Right at the moment it was switched on, I can easily relate it to my BYOC Analog Chorus. They sounded similar! Just that mine does not have the tone controls and level knob.

  • nice clean to the point job on vid 2 thumb's up man

  • @PALLARINTEDETTA Zakk's is more fit to what he uses. His range.

  • @PALLARINTEDETTA yep sure is, the crybaby classic is like zakks wah bt without hes awesome paint job and hes name. the gt od overdrive is like zakks overdrive bt without hes name on it, and this is the same as zakks chrous, i think its a good idea though for people who dont want to wear zakks name

  • @PALLARINTEDETTA The only other visible difference is that this is mono and through and Zakk's is stereo

  • @JerkyChid they're both in stereo

  • I like it. Another fun pedal that going on my board

  • @PALLARINTEDETTA I tought exactly the same

  • This pedal is so good that you can keep playing even after you've put your guitar back in it's case.

  • I'd pay more $ Just to NOT have the Zakk Wylde bullshit on it

  • @CaldaroneRyan Funny thing is: it actually IS the same pedal (if you mail MXR they will tell you that the only difference is the aesthetics).. And this one actually is more expensive (I live in Belgium, and most of us just order from Music Store or Thomann in Germany. The Zakk Wylde costs 111 Euros, while this pedal costs 127 Euros).. Weird actually, since custom stuff normally costs more..

  • @PALLARINTEDETTA Yes, from what I hear you're right. Someone at MXR told me they're exactly the same pedals. IMO the M134 kicks its ass.

  • Please make videos like this for every pedal you have mxr it WILL sell your products and it already has.

  • I'm addicted to these videos! there's no other way a company can catch the viewer that doing this!!!!! waaaay way better that the old pedal videos great job MXR!

  • Did you know, chorus was originally invented by the north american eskimos as a way to further enhance their exceptional safety record when dealing with ice goats?

  • These recent demos are great. They really get to the point without so much talking (none in fact). Let the pedal "speak" for itself. Good job!

  • Man, that's sick.

  • Level is at max and it's at unity compared to bypass. So I don't get why you put a volume pot !

  • @Youreallysuckguy ...it looks like the level pot isn't a volume pot or gain thing, its a wet/dry effect mix pot...might have been less confusing if the graphic was "wet/dry" or something like that...,,, otherwise great sounds though and I'm not even a heavy chorus guy, great playing and sound from that Lone Star Special! very nice to hear some different style playing then what's out there on allot of demos...

  • @WorkingManMedia ok and yes "mix" is more obvious !

  • my ears... the chorus was the icing on the cake for me. his choice of chords was nothing short of amazing.

  • @PALLARINTEDETTA that's what i'm saying...

  • and i just got a micro chorus =/

  • I didn't hear a change when he fiddled with the tone shaping knobs.
