  • taiji is based on taoist concept of Unity- it seeks to "become one with the universe". this is what sinking chi, let go, and relax does and this is where the internal power comes from. this power ,unlike external power, penetrates the root of the oponent uprooting them- it doesn't leave bruises nor cuts but goes all the way into the root
