Just watching the reruns of this show on BBC1 and have to say that this programme was totally overrated and is now very dated. The only highlight is listening to Rodney singing the theme tune. Trust the BBC to depend on a has been programme for Christmas entertainment. Waste of my licence fee money if you ask me.

I love the scene between 4:34 and 4:50 with the reference to Goodnight Sweetheart. Only Fools and Goodnight Sweetheart are both brilliant shows. If you watch series 4 episode 8 of Goodnight Sweetheart, the episode is called 'come fly with me' it is uploaded by neonkt1, go to the beginning of part 3 and you will see Nicholas Lyndhurst with a great reference to Del falling through the bar. It is well worth seeing and so funny. I have seen every single Only Fools and every Goodnight Sweetheart.

Very nice. Smartly written, references to their new projects and having a genuine message whilst remaining in character - lovely jubbly.
