I friggin love how it screams in pain even though you aren't doing anything to it as if it says - i'm going to suffer no matter what you do to me, but i'm still trying to kill you in the process as well . Making scary hisses or whisperings is not nearly as scary as this. You can feel a "mix" of emotions just by watching it - pity, urge to help, disgust, helplessness and above all else fear. EVERY HORROR GAME SHOULD HAVE SOMETHING LIKE THIS IN IT!

These are pretty easy when theres only one of them, just use stasis, then use the plasma cutter to gut the limbs before they go back inside or have the chance to launch the pods. Theres only like 6 limbs.

Its where there are two of them around the corner in the future that they are a pain.

I wasted so much ammo on this thing when I saw it for the first time. It killed me after my ammo ran dry, but then I killed it very quickly in round-two; this enemy is all about timing. I like to hit it with a bomb when it first wakes up, because all of its limbs are on the outside at that time; this results in a 1-hit kill. :-)

I call the gaurdian a one shot momma even on hard its a one shot kill with this monster.....when you come into its view the tenticles shoot out......stasis the monster as the tenticles are coming out in an arrow like fashion...walk next to him and shoot all the tenticle off with one plasma cutter shot set to top to bottom shot

That thing is called Guardian, actually it's really easy to take it out if you know the trick.

Blow it up with explosive object or just cut out all of tenticles while you put it on stasis.

Wow you suck at killing those things. Whenever those things are near, there are also always explosive barrels near, so you just have to use the kinesis to throw a barrel at them. They die in one hit.

The creature is called a mature Guardian, they're an entirely defensive necromorph, so use this to your advantage as it cannot move, the immature Guardians are those humans you see attached to walls.

yeah that shit may work on easy or medium but on impossible it takes quite a few shots to kill lurkers, and that can get annoying when your being chased by 4 Necros and those little baby assholes shoot you from a mile away.
