Thank you but...Please read the beginning of the video. I said I was playing it "Live Lateralus Tour style". When they played it live on that tour that is how Justin played it! He played it with those major accents causing the delay to really kick in. On the album he plays it soft but NOT live. Check it out for yourself here on youtube. @intr00der man that was spot on, it sounds like its not flowing well cos of all the weird timings, plus u gotta remember a lot of those riffs r low in the mix so doesnt stand out as much and throw you off the flow of the song. i watched this video hoping to learn it cos i can play the first minute or so, but its just so overly technical with timings. if u can play this song ur a ridiculously good bass player. good shit man! ill make it my goal to learn this eventually

Unless I'm mistaken an autowah just does the wah sound in a steady pattern whereas an env. filter controls the wah sound by volume. Like if you play lounder the wah sounds more open.

Since I have been playing harder things like Opeth I try to use it more but I really don't give to craps about technique. I like playing moving my hand along the fretboard.
