i think the main reason all the items are dropping is because people arnt willing to pay the large amount of money for item. so they just slowly drop until they reach a price that people are willing to pay. also godsword swords are mainly dropping becuase not many people want them becuase they arnt good for training or that good for pking anymore.
About the whole bossing prices thing: I feel as if bossing is the only proper way to earn a decent amount of money nowadays. In the position I am in now I'm trying my hardest to get money for turmoil and overloads and I feel a sense of urgency about the whole thing because as it is outside of bossing there are barley any decent money making methods due to all the bots.
I used to do frost dragons for money, now it's impossible as is skilling. So really my only option to make bank is bossing.
@MightyMuddy1 a bit late but im watching this video 3 very late as i read you comment is absouluty not true when u do something like staking and make 10b in 30 minutes if u get really lucky u will never under any circumstance want to do pvm when u tasted 10b in 10 mins

PVM gone down? How hard is it to find a world because of 138's being able to get 50 bandos kills and stay there for 2 hours. There doesn't seem to be a shortage of PVM people at all.
I know what you mean. Im around level 113 at the moment and its hard to make money with boss drops going down. When i was lower level these bosses were to high and players that are my level now were making millions and now i cant do that as easily. This makes those drops worth getting like nex drops out of my reach. All of the real drops that are profitable seem to move up with the players leaving our lower level players poor.
I like the fact they are making it easier mainly because it gives us lower levels to catch up to higher levels like yourself who have been playing longer

Whips claws ags ect. were so high because of high demands and because of pking. Stuff really started to go down when chaotic weps. came out i mean who would wana get a bandos godsword or even a armadyl god sword when u could get a chaotic rapier longsword ect. which is roughly the same stats as a godsword and its free. You dont even need to take time out of your day to get chaotics all you gota do is buy idung pro wait 2 weeks or so and bam chaotic. This game is going down the shitting nuff said

Honestly, I think the combination of bots+ new wilderness made slayer items crash. like the whip. So many bots, too many in the games. Plus who wants a whip when you can have a rapier?...And at godwars its the same thing. its more efficient to have a sheild+ chaotic while having claws for spec, rather than a slow godsword With barely higher strength bonus. but overall I think there are more pvmers than before because you cant make money with other things like RC or Frosts because of bots.

Soulsplit was a main reason pvm got easier... now you can just camp places with soulsplit with no food needed but back then you actually had to bank and restock

Runescape is accually still fun, ive been playing since 2000 on multiple accounts ( all got hacked ) and now I got a lvl 103 account with pretty bad stats. I got so much to do I dont even know what to do when. Like getting cash for bandos tassys or getting my rapier. Thats the fun of it
the bonus experience will only last 600 minutes the exp gets lover every 30 minutes it starts at x 2,7exp and will end with 1,1exp so if you played 600 minutes al your double exp is gone! thumb this up so people will know it!
I agree I think that the botting problem will resolve itself because of all of the players quiting only the players who really care about rune scape (non-botters) will stay and when bots are gone more legit players will return.

Gwd has died but before then barrows died and before then KQ died and before then Kbd died I actually remember when getting a Dragon med was bank changing :L Jagex made nex and maybe theyll add another boss with RoTM coming out to add more variety thats somewhat challenging for ovl/turm

I think the big reason why claws/whips/dboot etc have dropped is the 15min graves and the changes to pvp drops. Also dnt forget more and more people are getting top levels allowing for faster killing. Another thing i think is that money making for legit players is harder, methods like dragons/aviansies/mining etc are slower now. There may be more money but it is concentrated at the top. Whips have probs dropped cus of the rapier aswell. I suspect there are other reason aswell i dnt know.
I think whips gone down because of the wild update now you can actually get the whip instead of it going to waste and u get crap loot. now the whip just goes in a cycle and more whips are in stock instead of just dissapearing
I've started up a new account recently after being inactive on the game for over 2 years. It's still lots of fun to train up a new account but not nearly as much as it once was. Great video Fangzor keep 'em up!
tbh, imo, it was more fun and more challenging in the past, now its too easy, i dung often now cz its challenging, teamwork and relying on ur skills and ur team mate's... if only dung wud be even bigger than what it is atm wud be even better tbh, but oh well... jagex "try" to fix the game, but they make it "worse" in a way.. :/
I think you missed the biggest update that changed pvm, summoning. This update now made it so people could bring familiars that increase their inventory, or heal them with no need for food. Without summoning, a lot of the things would not be possible to do.
do this weekly man, when I do boring stuff such as firemaking or mining I listen to podcasts and videos such as this. They help a lot trust me, if u can keep doing them please do :)

As for bots; it's clear that the majority of them have been produced in order to sell Gold. In my opinion - this game would be tidier if free trade was REMOVED.

Dicing is frowned upon, but when you are playing some1 legit then its actually pretty fun.so i think that would be a loss of removing FT.
I think there should be some requirements to have FT, so like a certain amont of QP, or a certain amount of time played on RS or maybe a little of both. Jagex need to find a way to stop bots having free trade and having a requirement is probably the best way.
@LsPointless Problem with QPs is that f2p player wont be able to get it. A mixture of Total Level, time played, tasks done, quests done and maybe some other things could be the answer.

from the new quest boss i think the boss will drop the dragon warhammer as jagex did confirm that they will release the dragon warhammer this year, so it would make sense to release it with the quest
Membership is the way to go. In every single f2p english world, there are spamming bots advertising gold selling websites. No wonder 80% of f2p players are either botting or buying gold... Jagex can't do anything as the moment 1 spamming account gets banned, another one is created.
I did bandos for a week straight to get turmoil with piety super sets and an ags lol getting like 3 kills a trip with a terrorbird and for overloads i camped tds for 20 days with my friend for a few trips a day and got 15 claws in those 20 days and that's how i got overloads :D
@RsTesco i don't think they should do that cuz there're still lots of ppl without ovls, turmoil and chaotics, so it will make it even harder or impossible for them to kill one of the bosses... I think it is fair if u achieved 95 pray and/or 92? Herblore u have to be able to kill bosses faster... (double nex lp? I don't think so lol)
@EdgevilleOnly dont listen to him because it is 10 hours but it isnt 2x exp the whole time.... it starts out at 2.7x exp and after 30min it goes down to 2.5x...and it constantly goes down every 30min so get your exp while you can :) but after the 10 hours its at 1.1x which is still a tiny bonus exp lol
I remember trying to get the 3m for a whip and after I got a whip free trade came out and whips prices droped to like 800k. I can't even get into a good pvm team because they are all require 136+ combat, turmoil, overloads, full bandos/nex armor, and chaotics with a divine. Money is difficult to make of you are low combat and skilling isn't for you.
A great listen and I've played since the start and have witnessed these price changes, not only armour and gwd items but herbs. I used to pick ranarrs up and sell for like 12k. now they are what 2k? Money has lost value alot. inflation etc.
Jagex can do something against the bots , take an hour of their day , all of them , pick a section of worlds each (one take 1-10 , another 10-20) etc , go to the famous bot places and just ban the bots.
But then again , you have to think from jagex view , banning bots is basicly like saying no to thousands and thousands of $ every month. Imagine yourself in their position. =/
But yes , they can do something about the bots , but they really don't want to.

@najuf yes they still need them but there not going to match chaotics and torva as examples, they will be lower level content making it easier for lower levels.

Im so sad RS is dying I wish Jagex was better and it wasnt about money they are lossing money by doing what they are doing because of the high-level players are quiting and not paying for membership anymore. So basically they are lossing money faster then they are gaining it so its very sad they were such a great company but something happened.
Before "free trade" around january or sooner, when I was a level 136 with an untrimmed hitpoints cape and just "super" potions.
After 5 attempts I soloed the corp. I was more exited at that then I was a month or so ago when I had a 220m split in a corp ffa & split, divine drop.
New players who still have many goals to reach will probably find this game boring and annoying also because of all the bots... We high levels care less about the skills we have to train, but people who don't play this game for such a long time yet, they start in F2P and training a skill like mining is very hard because of all the bots... And it seems that Jagex isn't doing anything about the bots? Free trade came back 7 months ago, Jagex knew there would be RWT. They do nothing about it...?
@BigFoltz you completely misunderstood what he said, does going to nex generate more coins? no it generates items. and yeah there are less coins in the game now than there were back then because pure cash vanishes when you buy something from a shop or a monster for a dungeon. there's no more billions of coins coming from Pvp a day. and his theory is actually true, think about it more than 5 seconds
I've made a secondary turmoil pure account just recently sine I'm close to maxing out my main and need new goals to achieve =P Should be interesting to make.
Jagex NEEDS to get rid of bots since there isn't anything you can do for good cash anymore apart from high lvl pvm or pvp or staking, nothing for new players or non maxed.

There are some bosses that are so easy to kill its not funny. And then you have the forgotten bosses...

I think whips gone down because of the wild update now you can actually get the whip instead of it going to waste and u get crap loot. now the whip just goes in a cycle and more whips are in stock instead of just dissapearing

tbh, imo, it was more fun and more challenging in the past, now its too easy, i dung often now cz its challenging, teamwork and relying on ur skills and ur team mate's... if only dung wud be even bigger than what it is atm wud be even better tbh, but oh well... jagex "try" to fix the game, but they make it "worse" in a way.. :/

I think you missed the biggest update that changed pvm, summoning. This update now made it so people could bring familiars that increase their inventory, or heal them with no need for food. Without summoning, a lot of the things would not be possible to do.

As for bots; it's clear that the majority of them have been produced in order to sell Gold. In my opinion - this game would be tidier if free trade was REMOVED.

@LsPointless I Agree that it would help, but then its still a good thing to have.
Dicing is frowned upon, but when you are playing some1 legit then its actually pretty fun.so i think that would be a loss of removing FT.
I think there should be some requirements to have FT, so like a certain amont of QP, or a certain amount of time played on RS or maybe a little of both. Jagex need to find a way to stop bots having free trade and having a requirement is probably the best way.

@LsPointless Problem with QPs is that f2p player wont be able to get it. A mixture of Total Level, time played, tasks done, quests done and maybe some other things could be the answer.

Total level; i've seen level 138s with a total of less than 2000.
A lot of people feel the task system is rewarding enough. =/
It almost seems there's no fair way about it. Then again there's nothing even remotely fair about rwt'ing so the level of this "unfairness" as harsh as it would be, would still end up being more fair than those with the ability to RWT.

Membership is the way to go. In every single f2p english world, there are spamming bots advertising gold selling websites. No wonder 80% of f2p players are either botting or buying gold... Jagex can't do anything as the moment 1 spamming account gets banned, another one is created.

I did bandos for a week straight to get turmoil with piety super sets and an ags lol getting like 3 kills a trip with a terrorbird and for overloads i camped tds for 20 days with my friend for a few trips a day and got 15 claws in those 20 days and that's how i got overloads :D

@RsTesco i don't think they should do that cuz there're still lots of ppl without ovls, turmoil and chaotics, so it will make it even harder or impossible for them to kill one of the bosses... I think it is fair if u achieved 95 pray and/or 92? Herblore u have to be able to kill bosses faster... (double nex lp? I don't think so lol)

@EdgevilleOnly dont listen to him because it is 10 hours but it isnt 2x exp the whole time.... it starts out at 2.7x exp and after 30min it goes down to 2.5x...and it constantly goes down every 30min so get your exp while you can :) but after the 10 hours its at 1.1x which is still a tiny bonus exp lol

I remember trying to get the 3m for a whip and after I got a whip free trade came out and whips prices droped to like 800k. I can't even get into a good pvm team because they are all require 136+ combat, turmoil, overloads, full bandos/nex armor, and chaotics with a divine. Money is difficult to make of you are low combat and skilling isn't for you.

A great listen and I've played since the start and have witnessed these price changes, not only armour and gwd items but herbs. I used to pick ranarrs up and sell for like 12k. now they are what 2k? Money has lost value alot. inflation etc.

Jagex can do something against the bots , take an hour of their day , all of them , pick a section of worlds each (one take 1-10 , another 10-20) etc , go to the famous bot places and just ban the bots.
But then again , you have to think from jagex view , banning bots is basicly like saying no to thousands and thousands of $ every month. Imagine yourself in their position. =/
But yes , they can do something about the bots , but they really don't want to.

Im so sad RS is dying I wish Jagex was better and it wasnt about money they are lossing money by doing what they are doing because of the high-level players are quiting and not paying for membership anymore. So basically they are lossing money faster then they are gaining it so its very sad they were such a great company but something happened.

Before "free trade" around january or sooner, when I was a level 136 with an untrimmed hitpoints cape and just "super" potions.
After 5 attempts I soloed the corp. I was more exited at that then I was a month or so ago when I had a 220m split in a corp ffa & split, divine drop.

New players who still have many goals to reach will probably find this game boring and annoying also because of all the bots... We high levels care less about the skills we have to train, but people who don't play this game for such a long time yet, they start in F2P and training a skill like mining is very hard because of all the bots... And it seems that Jagex isn't doing anything about the bots? Free trade came back 7 months ago, Jagex knew there would be RWT. They do nothing about it...?

@BigFoltz you completely misunderstood what he said, does going to nex generate more coins? no it generates items. and yeah there are less coins in the game now than there were back then because pure cash vanishes when you buy something from a shop or a monster for a dungeon. there's no more billions of coins coming from Pvp a day. and his theory is actually true, think about it more than 5 seconds

I've made a secondary turmoil pure account just recently sine I'm close to maxing out my main and need new goals to achieve =P Should be interesting to make.
Jagex NEEDS to get rid of bots since there isn't anything you can do for good cash anymore apart from high lvl pvm or pvp or staking, nothing for new players or non maxed.

I think they should get pay a mod to go from world to world and just ban people at popular botting spots, that would make the price of all gwd items. I am 138 and the last thing i wanna do is do bandos all day and get like a 17m drop. I miss going to arma and if you got a hilt split you like went CRAZY`!@!@!@!
