You have to walk much further now (right through the international station) nowdays to get a domestic train from St Pancras...then you have to go up a level by escalator or steps...all the more reason to just go by car.

But then you have to go to/from the carpark to where you want to go. Long distance journeys like those out of St Pancras are better done by train.

It would have been even better if this was filmed using a digital camcorder rather than a digital camera with video functions on it.

But I was saying that while this video releases the full interior noise of the cab, others do not!

I love HST as well. I live in NZ but spent 2 years in London next to Paddington Station, So use to watch these trains spin up and down all the time. But I don't get why the bell rings when the signal is clear (green) wouldn't it be better if the warning went off for a amber or red signal to give time for the train to slow?? No noise then it's full speed ahead. If you get what I mean

you do get a warning for amber and red its called AWS its the yellow boxes in the track before the signal it makes a sound for bout 10 seconds and if you dont hit it in that time it applies the emergency brakes you also have TPWS which picks up the trains speed as they approach an amber or red signal and same again if its going faster then that certain speed it;ll apply the brakes
