I really hope that this game will be more complex... :/ Will there be a public demo?
Because form what i've seen it's exactly like uplink, except worse.
The one thing i liked about the Hacker Evolutions-series was the actual typing-command function. But it seems that the typing-2-hack function is beeing replaced with some lame button action used in games like Uplink and Codelink v2.
Even though i see that "Console"-button i doubt it'll be for much use, am i wrong about this?
@nightjj Yea, i've noticed that but i wont pre-order it because i have no idea of what to expect of this game at the moment. I'll wait until the public demo is out and make my decision based on the experience i gain out of that.

Hey! New game on the way? I played my friend's copy of the beta (I got him into the series to start with) and I must say I'm a little concerned about the depth of this game. But I trust you to put out something good, you know what your fans like.
Also, I wanted to thank you again for your generosity on the forums several months ago. I now own both HE games on Steam and when financially possible, I plan to buy this one. Hoping this retains the positives of earlier games in the series.
@ParagonPilot It's because we are using "preview" versions of the songs in the soundtrack. We want to see how they fit the game, which songs the gamers like more, and then we will purchase the proper clean versions.

Having played them for a while, I have to say that I much preferred the visual style to that of Uplink (you won't escape that comparisons here I guess!); especially the use of a CLI. On the other hand, I much preferred the sandbox gameplay that Uplink offered. So I am left wondering: will Duality be more of the same or is a little more open ended?
I'm sorry, but I'm really not getting a draw for this game from this video. It just looks... boring. Uplink had the hacking thing sorted to a degree, but I wanted to see a different spin on it. This has a different spin... but I can't see that it'll be fun from this video.

point and click is all good and all, but do you still get all the fun of inputting consol comands like in the past games. that was the thing i liked most about it. otherwise i might aswell go and play uplink
