@Cheetah1251 Chris Martin is not a religious person. He was brought up by very religious parents, but he's not religious. He had a profound religious childhood, so he can't it if he makes references to religion in his lyrics. You have to listen for the meaning. He believes in God, but he doesn't follow religious text.

I was never trying to say that homosexuality was entirely evil. Being normally attracted by another one of your gender is perfectly fine. Sexual acts are not. So it was common beforehand and is still common today. I understand that. I know paintings of homosexuality existed in the old times.

@SlqP06 Too commercial? Excuse me? You may be in a place where everyone can name atleast one COLDPLAY song. I'm at a medical university where almost nobody can name a COLDPLAY song. I'm one of the biggest fans in the entire world, probably in the top 5. I love all 5 LPs! Imagine how I should feel. I don't care anyway. COLDPLAY will always be a personal thing for me. Every Friday when I sit in my apartment listening to my COLDPLAY records & reading, that's my greatest entertainment every week.

When I went to sleep away camp it was the best experience of my life and in our cabin (wooden house) every night we would play this song. Its amazing to hear it now and have the memories come back.

I must say, I love Coldplay but their albums after Parachutes and A Rush of Blood to the Head were no where near in comparison as good as those. They're to upbeat, I don't like their new direction. That is all.

From dreams to depression to lost loves to mistakes to the good times to the great times without regrets. They can appeal to you in every mood you feel. Thats why I love every album and every song no matter what. All of it is brilliant whether it fits the listener or not.
