@Balenaproductions Actually the whole younger self theory was a fan assumption. If you look at the generations story the characters can't tell the difference between modern and classic. They never referred to him as a younger version or a child. And when he was first announced sega called him the classic design or a different incarnation, never a kid. I wouldn't blame the fans, anyone could assume that because of modern sonic's mature design.
