For some years (okay decades!) I have said that "the 60s" meaning 1965-1972--was the greatest era in rock and roll history, if not American pop music. I have always also loved "the 50s" music, of which this is certainly one of the greats. But I think there is a bigger point. The 50s were--in musical color, emotional range, ability to speak to the national moment, and sheer doggone beauty--this ear was no less a Great Era in American music.
I'm sorry, I meant that stuff where they just bang their heads and yell, heavy metal or goth, whatever they want to call it. I like rock and roll like the rolling stones, beach boys, etc, but not stuff where they just yell and scream
A pretty good cover but NOTHING and NO-ONE can surpass the version by the PENQUINS!!! Possibly the greatest pop record of all time!!

What a great slow song. Holding a pretty young thing close and trying to sing this at a school dance.

Thank you so much for uploading real music, not that rap and rock and roll shit

You're very ignorant. Rock is actually real music. Rock & roll is even REALER. I can't believe I'm defending it cos I'm not a fan of it.
Ironically, the song you just listened to (this one) is rock & roll. God, you're so stupid.

Well, OK. I hate that too. It's called metal. But I don't think anyone should call that rock.
