He looks very competent, and if dirty jokes keep the client relaxed then there's no problem with it. Cartilage piercings are always going to be more sensitive, you're putting a hollow needle through pretty firm material.

i got mine done last week. it hurt pretty bad when i got it done and that whole day but after that it was fine. make sure you take very good care of it and use a saline based solution and constantly clean it so as not to get infection or keiloid.

@hollisterblue101 ihad my tragus pierced today, compared to a nose piercing which i had that really hurt the pain isnt as bad as that i thought, but everyone feels pain differently, the tragus piercing isnt too bad tbh its worse than an ear lobe being pierced as its cartilidge but u just have to deal with the pain. Its over in a matter of seconds n just have to deal with it aching afterwards for a couplke of days

for me it only hurt when the needle went through, and then when the bar went through. The piercer told me it hurt when the bar went through because they purposely make the bar a little bigger than the needle hole so that it doesn't bleed out. called "plugging" if i remember correctly?

I just got mine done yesterday. To be honest, the clamps hurt WAY worse than the needle...once they take the clamps off you can hardly feel anything. It's more of a pressure feeling at first like you said and then it starts to get hot. It's soo worth it though, i love mine.

It all really depends on your pain tolerance though.

depends on the piercer....the clamps have notches once they are pushed together but a lot of the times the area that the person is getting pierced is bigger than the space between the clamp once pushed to that notch, that is why most piercers will wrap an elastic around it just to apply presure

Wow i just got my tragus done this afternoon and out of the things i've heard like "it's the most painful" it really wasn't. I hardly felt any pain and that's coming from someone who doesn't have a high tolerance for pain. But she bled A LOT damn. I didn't bleed at all and the piercer i had, she done it so quick literally under a minute including screwing the ball on. I'm happy with it, it's an amazing piercing :]
