hey everybody, I read some of you could meet Dirk. Does anybody know where we can meet him next? all ideas are welcome. And where does he live? montana? whats the town name?
Lovely bloke! Met him a few years ago and he was a total gentleman. Funny, friendly and frank.
I guess he must get bored with seeing roles he made so completely his own being 'reimagined'? I know I am! Nobody can play Starbuck or Face like Dirk did.
Can we get a petition to have the guy who made the Ateam movie make a sequel to it thats way more like the Tv show? Ill sign first if need be.....I luved the new movieof The Ateam...but after seeing interviews like this one with dirk makes me wish yeah, wish the director coulda made the movie more like the Tv show and if need be updated as he did......
In the movie remake, I was expecting at least a cameo appearance from the original cast... was so disappointed.
After watching the film, I had to explain to my daughter how different the movie version was from the TV series. The movie somehow lacked the chemistry they had in the series. Really enjoyed watching the original cast gel together despite their different quirky personalities.
You guys are really very talented and I hope we could see more of you.
@charo632 Dwiht Schultz and Dirk Benedict are in the movie...after the end credits ther is two short scene with them ;) watch it ! it's really funny !
@charo632 Geroge Pappard "Hannibal" had been deceased for some time when that movie was made, and although ive been a fan of series Dirk has been in (I remember when A-Team first started, my first comment was "STARBUCK") look at him now, would have been hard to be a pretty boy that old (although some women here disagree LOL) and although i love the A-Team refused to watch that movie. But HE did have a cameo as a prisoner so I have read.
I enjoyed The A-Team movie, but Dirk still hasn't seen the film so I'm interested in knowing what he has to say after seeing it like Dwight has. But at least he hopes it's good.
I went to see the film with my friend who apparently never saw the original show which was a suprise to me so he didn't get into the theatre with a expectation like i did...but throughout the whole film..i felt sick. No disrespect to the actors in it but the movie itself was a disgrace to the A-Team.
I totally agree with dirk, it was more funny in the show..you'd have a few laughs here and there..which made the show so great. I really miss those days even though i'm 15.
Saw the film last night and never saw either Dirk or Dwight in it, despite them being in the credits at the end. So I am told, their scenes were deleted from the film and shown after the end of the credits. gutted to have missed that. As for the rest of the film, not good I'm sad to say, didn't hold true to the spirit of the original at all, and that was the opinion of all 3 of us who went. Shame :(
@krissii74. I like Neeson but why did he sign on to do such a craptacular film?! He was great in Taken, Batman Begins, and Michael Collins. With such an awesome resume, why tarnish it with The A-team?!
@Melville10 I dont think he tarnished it. Have you seen the movie yet? I am a huge fan of both Liam Neeson and the old A Team show and I think they did a hell of a job with the movie.
Dirk looks like he knows what he wants to say but wants to seem indirect. I think that he's thinking 'total shit'. The new A-Team movie is just too mainstream, overgroomed actors, nothing like the tv series and just in your face trailer. I totally think this won't do well in trhe box office. Afterall the studies just wanna make a huge profit!!
Is this whilst he was playing Columbo last month? Looking at him now - I can imagine him in the crumpled coat... "Oh Excuse me sir, just ONE more question I'd like to ask about the night your wife died?"
@MarkLunn76 we saw him play Columbo in Crewe, he was bloody amazing. You could smell the cigar smoke! Columbo and Faceman/Starbuck in one place, when awesomness collides!
He's just 66 but looks closer to 86...

I thought the movie was pretty good. If Liam Neeson is in it chances are it won't be bad.
