For those of you who are wondering about that incident against @Runnerrmejor, just know this, @Runnerrmejor has been in countless dino related videos bringing false info such as "giga can lift a rex with its jaws and throw it 30ft away"(more like play too much dino crises) and trolling random people online n several videos. I guess his excessive trolling finally got the best of him.
@jtmsl Way bigger?...that's false, it's only slightly larger(by a very small sum)but much more slender and weaker with less strength, bit force, intelligence, etc.

T-rex however hunted creatures such as Triceratops and Ankylosaurus which were VERY tough and hard creatures to face, in fact they were more then capable of taking down a T-rex and Gigan, they were large but that wasn't their main nor only real defense but they had great attacks and defenses that weren't so easy to just get around
@KILLSHOCK1100 big sauropods are much harded to kill than triceratops and such, you can spend the whole day trying to hunt a sauropod and end up with nothing.
Just becaur those herbivores have weapons it doesn't mean they are harder to kill, or more dangerous

but documentaries state that Gigan used a large pack to bring down babies or sick ones, IDK but is more likely
a more defensive and fearsome prey is actually a harder one, sauropod was a matter of time due to its large size, it was more of a low rate video game boss that didn't really had much attacks or defense except for its large health bar in comparison

who is talking about video games, I only referenced a sauropods to a Gigan(especially a baby or really sick one) was more like a a low rate boss character in a video game...in this case it 's just amater of time due to a hypothetical health bar...NOT an actual video game at all
@Runnerrmejor so yeah Gigan may have hunted the largest but it was said for babies and very old or sick ones (said in documentaries)but either waya large pack of hungry Gigans easily take down that behemoth simply there isn't much the Argen could do with it lack of speed, attacks and defenses, it HIGHLY depended on it's size for protection
but Carcharodontosauridaes(Gigan, T-rex, etc) weren't just powerful hunters but were also very intelligent dinos that were known for complex hunting

The Giga had a more sensitive sense of smell, but the T rex had a bigger brain, I guess it was mroe inteligent lol

other than that, Gigan was actually HIGHLY related to T-rex as well as Cryolophosaurus, Acrocanthosaurus, albertosaurus and even Raptors
it has pretty much been proven and was quite obvious

In addition to what you said I really believe that each one was structured to be successful in its own environment. I think Rex bone-crushing teeth were effective because he hunts preys with some extreme defense weapons like Triceratops and Ankylosaurus.

Gigan may have hunted Argentinosaurus but in LARGE PACKS and mainly to smaller babies and very sick adult(as said in some documentaries, IDK if that was the ONLY WAY) and well as we all know sauropods weren't even made for fighting with a very open neck, their SIZE was really their main protection(the tail's attack could be prevented by Gigan)

@Runnerrmejor Trice & Ankylo were fearsome creature that weren't just something that can just be taken down, they were more than willing to prove so for its own life to even larger predators, they weren't push overs in fact were equal to T-rex and even Gigan, studies prove that due to their superb design for its protection would have a much higher chance of winning against large predators

@cruzerdoozer12 Dont speak like it's a fact, because scientists disagree with each other, but most paleontologists supports the idea that Rex was both a scavenger and an active hunter, mainly like any other large predator.
@cruzerdoozer12 Arms are not always necessary for hunting, actually there are animals today that don't use them yet at the same time they proved to be successful hunters. Because they have other powerful attributes, crocs sharks and eagles are the best examples and they all are related to theropods not mammals. Speaking of vision the only fact here is that Rex had a binocular vision better than any other known dinosaur and today binocular vision is mostly found on hunters.
@hanxopx eagles use their claws if they didnt they would just be vultures. sharks and crocs have a common thing and thats water. without it they would both be out of luck. but there are no other land animals that are big with short arms that are hunters. hunters need agility, and speed. Something trex did not have.

@Runnerrmejor so in a way that does deserve respect but isn't really something to say it's the best, sauropods in a way are easy for many large predators
T-rex however hunted creatures such as Triceratops and Ankylosaurus which were VERY tough and hard creatures to face, in fact they were more then capable of taking down a T-rex and Gigan, they were large but that wasn't their main nor only real defense but they had great attacks and defenses that weren't so easy to just get around

Just becaur those herbivores have weapons it doesn't mean they are harder to kill, or more dangerous

but documentaries state that Gigan used a large pack to bring down babies or sick ones, IDK but is more likely
a more defensive and fearsome prey is actually a harder one, sauropod was a matter of time due to its large size, it was more of a low rate video game boss that didn't really had much attacks or defense except for its large health bar in comparison

@Runnerrmejor so yeah Gigan may have hunted the largest but it was said for babies and very old or sick ones (said in documentaries)but either waya large pack of hungry Gigans easily take down that behemoth simply there isn't much the Argen could do with it lack of speed, attacks and defenses, it HIGHLY depended on it's size for protection
but Carcharodontosauridaes(Gigan, T-rex, etc) weren't just powerful hunters but were also very intelligent dinos that were known for complex hunting

The Giga had a more sensitive sense of smell, but the T rex had a bigger brain, I guess it was mroe inteligent lol

@Runnerrmejor that Gigan not being from the Carcharodontosauridaes family such as T-rex thing that you said you THINK you read, I think you're referring to Spino which it a theropod but came from the Spinosauridae family
other than that, Gigan was actually HIGHLY related to T-rex as well as Cryolophosaurus, Acrocanthosaurus, albertosaurus and even Raptors
it has pretty much been proven and was quite obvious

also the Gigan was heaver but T-rex had more muscle mass
Gigan had a more slender longer body then T-rex but Gigan was only slightly larger also T-rex had stronger jaws and teeth built better then Gigan but Gigan had even more teeth & a longer snout
the Trex also had better senses then Gigan and had a skull built like a battering ram
Gigan is highly related to T-rex
IDK who would win but both are very powerful hunters

In addition to what you said I really believe that each one was structured to be successful in its own environment. I think Rex bone-crushing teeth were effective because he hunts preys with some extreme defense weapons like Triceratops and Ankylosaurus.

Gigan may have hunted Argentinosaurus but in LARGE PACKS and mainly to smaller babies and very sick adult(as said in some documentaries, IDK if that was the ONLY WAY) and well as we all know sauropods weren't even made for fighting with a very open neck, their SIZE was really their main protection(the tail's attack could be prevented by Gigan)

@Runnerrmejor Trice & Ankylo were fearsome creature that weren't just something that can just be taken down, they were more than willing to prove so for its own life to even larger predators, they weren't push overs in fact were equal to T-rex and even Gigan, studies prove that due to their superb design for its protection would have a much higher chance of winning against large predators
sauropods only have size as protection...it's attacks were really worthless to Gigan, they can be dodge

@cruzerdoozer12 Arms are not always necessary for hunting, actually there are animals today that don't use them yet at the same time they proved to be successful hunters. Because they have other powerful attributes, crocs sharks and eagles are the best examples and they all are related to theropods not mammals. Speaking of vision the only fact here is that Rex had a binocular vision better than any other known dinosaur and today binocular vision is mostly found on hunters.

@hanxopx eagles use their claws if they didnt they would just be vultures. sharks and crocs have a common thing and thats water. without it they would both be out of luck. but there are no other land animals that are big with short arms that are hunters. hunters need agility, and speed. Something trex did not have.
