Modern Egyptians are primarily indigenous North African. They are the descendents of the Ancient Egyptians. Ancient Egyptians painted themselves reddish-brown, the same color that modern Egyptians look like today. The Ancient Egyptians are the ancestors of modern-day Egyptians. End of story.

Ancient coins from Carthage, such as the "Silver double shekel of Carthage" are on display today at the British Museum in London from the year 230 B.C. and has a portrait of a Mediterranean on the coin, not a Black African. North Africa was inhabited by Mediterraneans before the Arab conquest of 632 A.D..

At 1.13, he said that the archeaological evidence shows the main line of immigration came from the southwest and the west. They didn't come from the North or the East. In other words, they didn't originate in Europe or Asia.

Don't forget about eye color... lighter eyes are better for places that provide less daylight, i.e. are farther from the equator. Blue eyes rightly should be rarer, because they are more susceptible to damage over time since they pretty much let in all light except blue. Only reason they are around is from inbreeding. Brown, green, or hazel eyes are ideal genetically. Brown are best for sunny climates.
