What kind of lift do you have? I just bought a 2010 Off Road X. I installed a "Ready Lift" kit, but it looks like I only gained approx 2 in the front, and about 1 1/2 in the rear. Yours looks a bit higher than mine. Are those 285/75 16?
i have done a tune up before it got 99,000 and i changed the air filter on it too ... but i guess there like that natrually ... i mean its an offroad car i guess there suppost to do that lol ....mine is not a 4x4 and i wish i had bought it 4x4 dayin to take it offroad ....
hello i have the 1 generation of xterras the 2002 i love it but one problem it wastes gas in the city like no tommorrow but does all the xterras do ????? i wanted to trade it in because of that gas but i have had it for 3 years and its been good what should i do please reply ...
think of them as super heavy duty side steps. they're designed to protect the body as you slide over the rocks. indeed, they also protect when you slam, smack, bang, and grind over the rocks.
@xpez Honestly I'd stick with an automatic. I find them to be a lot nicer for offroading. I have used both manuals and automatics, and they are pretty much similar. The only advantage the auto has over the manual, is that when you are stuck, you don't have to worry about trying to work a clutch while at the same time trying to get free. So none of the stalling, reving too high when you're stuck.
@xpez manual would give you more control, also on the new Off-Road trim package, i believe opting for a manual gives you a stronger axle or something, don't remember. But you really can't go wrong, auto or manual
That is Onix from thenewX. He's got the 2.0 Radflo Coilovers from PRG, a custom 3 leaf AAL from Dunbar Spring, extended length shackles, rear Rancho 9000s for a lifted 1st gen, a 3" BL from AC, and his tires are Firestone Destination MTs LT285/75/R16.
What tires are on the yellow one??
bikeracer129 1 year ago
@bikeracer129 I think those are firestone MTs. That's Brenda's truck (DZRT GRL) from AZXC and thenewx, she could give you the specifics.

Really? 80 more hp, stronger frame, off road version with locking diff, improvements in almost every aspect...

@AldoBr549 Care to expound on that statement? Why do you think the 2nd Gen is not as good as the 1st Gen?

@ChargerDaytonaTB Unknown - It is Wally's truck. Check out Onix on thenewx and also AZXC. He'll be able to answer that.

This video is fake, you can clearly see that the rocks are large pieces of foam.
