Bobtails Rescue: How to pick up a rabbit

My bunny always bites and chews really hard on my clothes when i pick it up. How can i get it to stop?

Buddy looks like mine :) accept mines cross with a mini lop (and a mini rex i think) and she is a new member :) and doesnt like being picked up for like 2 secs :(

I couldn't pick it up like you did because it will scratch me and struggle strongly. So sad T^T

Keep practicing and it will get easier. If necessary, wear a pair of gloves and long sleeve clothes until you are more confident. Alternatively, next time you take your raibbit to the vet to have its vaccinations or nails clipped, ask if he/she can show you.
