I rate Magic high on effectiveness but average on talent/skill. Ask yourself this: would he have been so successful and/or popular if he was drafted by another team and/or utilized differently? He should thank his lucky star that his life in the NBA was a perfect storm.  He was an enigma, and his height was more of a factor than his skill.
