When this error appears it means that the application Mapdrives was not signed properly because of an error during signing (check if you put the password 0000 to sign) or a problem in the certificate (you can check your certificate in my other video that shows how to check OPDA certificate to see if your IMEI is in the cer).

I had my 5800xm hacked previously in v21, then updated to v31 and again to v40 now. I just did a hard reset to fix an OVI store error issue. since the reset, the hack is no longer working.

Have you managed to crack the v40 OS yet? I have registered again with OPDA and HelloOx for the new version, can you help with the process required for me to re-hack this phone???

Ah! Não aguentei esperar e instalei no cartão mesmo. Só que na hora de copy para a: os arquivos não estavam no E:. Conectei o cabo, joguei os arquivos no E: e depois copiei para o A:. Eu até fiz o teste depois (Com o Mapdrive Unsigned) e estava tudo ok, mas agora, quando acesso o Y-Browser eu não enxergo mais o A:. O que tinha mesmo no A:? Ele tem que continuar aparecendo ou não?

You'd better use HelloOx from v.2, better chances to hack successfully latest firmwares... Y-browser is not included in HelloOx, they usually include a similar filebrowser named Modo, but Rompacher and Mapdrives are included.

Não conseguiu assinar ainda? Mas não tem erro não, é no PC como Signsis, no celular com o Mobilesigner (outro vídeo) ou ainda pode assinar online no OPDA, veja o meu vídeo mais recente de OPDA que vc aprenderá como upar um app para ser assinado no site do OPDA.

Drive A is used only to copy the files temporarily to it to allow ROMPatcher installation. When you restart, drive A must really disappear and you have to manually apply the patches in ROMPatcher, they are not automatically applied.

If you update fw of your E71, you will only get updates in the software of you OS Symbian 9.2. In the case of E72, it uses Symbian 9.3, a newer version of the OS, and you can not transform a E71 into a E72 just by updating fw (if that is what you were asking about...).

No, this hack has the intention to allow you to install apps without having to sign them before, and to allow you to have access to the protected system folders. To get apps without paying for them you have to install a cracked app or use a keygen to register them.

Experimente reiniciar o celular e aí aplicar o patch. Muitas vezes após reiniciar o patch pode ser aplicado com sucesso.

Por favor Faby, acabou de chegar o certificado do OPDA para mim e quando vou fazer os passos para assinar da pau e aparece a mensagem:

Certificate File Signing Failed!

1 - ake sure your certificate file is correct.

2 - Make sure the password is correct

(If everything is valid, check the directory it could have been created)

Como faço para saber se o certificado do OPDA tem problemas ou se existe uma alternativa a esse passo.

Tem como vc checar seu certificado OPDA sim, basta seguir o meu outro vídeo chamado "checking your certificate from OPDA". Vc vai baixar um aplicativo chamado devcertlist.exe para ser executado no PC e vai ver se seu certificado contém seu IMEI. Aconteceu com algumas pessoas do certificado delas não conter seus IMEIs. O vídeo está em inglês, sem legenda em português, mas acho que dá para entender pelo vídeo. Qualquer dificuldade me avise, ok?

For ROMPatcher to work, before running it, you have to copy those 5 files to the drive A created, reboot phone, and then you run ROMPatcher. Otherwise, you can't run it because the files needed for it to run are manually copied to drive A.
