  • Nice vid very smart thinking

  • Well thats really a low profile tire lol

  • Thats the ol indian trick

  • I got a Dana 44 that bolted right up in my Cherokee for $400 which includes parts and everything I needed to install it

  • @btarrh I agree with the ford 8.8 and you get the disc brakes, use dodge Dakota rear flex brake lines it's a direct fit.

  • Piss on the 44, save your cash and do what I did. Go to the clunker yard and pickup an 8.8 from a 95-01 Explorer, be sure your gear ratio matches. Most of these axles can be picked up for around $100. Spend the $250 on the axle brackets from Rocky Mountain Off-Road and weld them on. Now remove your Dana 35 and sale it for $300 on Craigslist. The 8.8 is much stronger and cheaper than any 44. Cheers!

  • Time for a 44 swap...

  • thing has a broke axle not a flat

  • THERES A SPARE RIGHT THERE!!!!!!!!!

  • like the line the wood left on the road LOL

  • cool video and so that is how you get back?

  • Only in a jeep :)

  • some budy should ask this magiver why he is not using his spair tyer?

  • Its a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand

  • Just to REALLY stick it to the tree huggers

  • dont fix it if it aint broken

  • this was on myth busters haha

  • never leave a jeep behind.

  • I thought jeeps can run with 3 wheels.

  • They decided to use the long one rather the round one they had.

  • Seriously, people... Stop with the stupid comments. It's go a broken axle shaft or a bad outer wheel bearing making a spare completely useless. The axle shaft would come out and ruin the entire rear end on it's way.

  • @gravesfiend138 Take a deep breathe. People are having fun, that's what they do on YT.

  • @HuskerSeaofRed The people calling this guy an idiot for not using his spare are the ones i was talking to... If they don't know, dont say... ask.

  • U Watch way to much MYTH-BUSTERS

  • better for floatin on

  • Anyone who knows/works on their jeep knows that this guy busted his axle shaft (probably still has the D35 with a C-clip). His tire wont stay on there bc the axle shaft will slide right out. Time for an 8.8.

  • 8.8 swap time

  • ...for all of you who thought our troops were the only ones who came back missing limbs. GOD BLESS YOU SOLDIER!

  • i am also disgruntled or however else the fuck you spell it, idk why i just am excuse my outbursts now im going to look up the video that has the thumbnail of that chicks awesome rack even though i know this is u tube and they dont show shit like that. a man can dream right? Fuck you. you can look up lactating chicks though and u tube shows that... go figure fuck u tube

  • ha ha use the spare... shut the fuck up its a busted axleshaft retards. holy fuckballs go smoke another cock and look up some other mindless shit like im doing...you fucking twat stained douche licking helmet bangin ankletoucher

  • it works, we need to get home somehow, lol

  • only a jeep

  • whatsa matta with the spare on the back of the jeep??

  • @epcdave its not as cool

  • haha another D35 bites the dust

  • mythbusters!

  • hahahahaha wtf you have a spare

  • @gno1972 Maybe it was flat also

  • @gno1972 I guess he had no time for putting up that spare ;)

  • @gno1972 the wheel studs may have stripped.

  • very stupid.....LSHIP

  • @tyewalkerfm1 It may get you home or at least to safety!

  • Jeeps Rule

  • In solvent russia tree drives you.

  • Jeep on crutches.

  • that's a dana 35 for you.

  • i saw this on mythbusters!!!!! and i worked great... i actually tryed this on my pickup truck.... it works great lol....

  • Cheese and Rice!!

  • @onlypitbulls maybe the studs on the wheels broke, making it impossible to mount a tire

  • Thats what happens when you mix ghetto with white people :D

  • I would expect it was a busted hub or axle. The backing plate was covered in plastic like he didn't want mud and dirt to get in.I've driven home(not far)on a flat spare already. It was a plain steel rim that I had a few of.So you can assume he had a damn good reason for not using the spare.

  • lol he saw that in a movie once.

  • @onlypitbulls When in remote areas, you DON'T use the spare tire unless you ABSOLUTELY have to. For example, if there were no logs available, etc., you might have to put the spare on. Here, a suitable log was clearly available.

  • @Robert111 that's the best answer right there!

  • wood gets better gas mileage

  • I have officially seen everything.

  • D35 at its best!

  • Nice!

  • Well, it works so in some situations it might be handy i guess ^^.

  • brilliant

  • dude that is an awesome idea!!!

  • @cotequadsport As soon as you opened your post with "Dude",.... we all knew you would have never thought of it. :D

  • @Ghstwn lol. your mom must be proud of her little basement dweller. :) :)

  • the axle shaft is broken. if you put a tire on it the axle would walk out causing alot more problems.

  • Lol V rite thats wut i said unless he broke the studs

  • This is a fantastic idea.

  • This should be a new sport!!!

  • Maybe he busted his c35 rearend and that's what happens when it all goes to hell.

  • or maybe when the wheel came off it took all the studs with it so there is nothing to bolt the spare to?

  • A ski?

  • Um..... none of the jeeps behind you have a tire wrench or high-lift? Either they wanted to make a joke, or they don't know how to change a tire.

  • might not have even had the tools to take that tire off

  • that spare could have been flat, just saying

  • @Creative3431 its not. (jeep owner)

  • @UtubeCanEatMyDick As a owner of two jeeps i can say that, by experience, a spare tire can look fine but actually have almost no air in it.

  • @Creative3431 you cant tell if a tire has air in just by looking at it?? loser

  • @Creative3431 yeah your right. esp with the real thick tread ones. lol

  • I can guarantee it Had a DANA 35.

  • it's obvious they popped the retaining circlip that holds the axle in the spider gear of the rear differential assembly. thus causing the axle to come out of the housing along with the wheel. notice wheel and axle as an assembly in back seat. though a very effective way of avoiding a tow bill..

  • There IS a spare tire on the back......BUT, retard here could only afford FOUR oversized tires and not 5 thus having to resort to putting a half a tree under his jeep to get it home to keep from damaging the tranny.

  • @BRAVOADD Put the spare on the front and put it in 2wd? Wouldn't that work?

  • "Fuck, tires suck! Hey Jimmy bring me that log."

  • LOL if you look as it passes in the back seat is the tire and the axle seems like a good way to get it home

  • I just saw this on mythbusters the other day...........coincidence?

  • dont worry guys that spare tire on the back is for looks onley.....

  • lmao

  • This that or the other. What to go Macgyver ! Might have to steal that idea some day !

  • awesome , simply awesome

  • The dumbass probably broke his wheel hub, and that's why he couldn't use the spare.

  • both of them has spare tires?

  • @norcobigfootrider there is some sense in what you said about not the right size with a possible locker,, but haha why wouldnt you put a front tyre on the back and the smaller one on the front,, know one would be stupid enuff to have a permanently locked front diff haha :P

i have seen a nissan patrol with 38" superswampers get a flat on the front and he chucked a 31" on for the drive home haha,, back tyre lifted up under heavy breaking but yeah haha

  • lift it up put the spare on it if the axles broke then just use the 4 wheel drive but it dident look like u were

  • 35c's suck

  • I assume his axle is broke. If not he should have just change the tire LOL

  • really qualifies handicap parking un like most people

  • eh, it works

  • Dude you got a flat!!!

  • damn c clip axles gota love em

  • Nice trick! But, didn't your buddy have a spare you could borrow?????

  • i might b... no. just no. its not even worth saying

  • Buena idea, solo se puede hacer con un suelo liso.Esto en Argentina como estan las carreteras destruidas, es imposible.

  • Good idea. Nice job on making it happen.

  • break an axle?

  • @guitarguy30000

Naw, he was driving around and the other 3 jumped onto the jeep....lol

  • @zeuqsav

    Wonder if it was "hot"?

  • Huge spare tire on the back... not using it. Wow...

  • @motleyhar hard to do that when the only thing to bolt the tire too broke off. (aka broken axle)

  • @motleyhar That's because he broke off his axle.

  • @unclesara It's too bad that wasn't also said over two weeks ago. #payattention

  • @motleyhar You have too much time and too small of a dick to go around scrolling, reading and correcting trivial redundant constructive comments. You are set for a long hard life. Good luck.

  • @unclesara Scrolling? You responded to me, late as hell, and then want to troll me and some how make me look like the idiot? I don't think so. You are the one that tried to correct me, if you don't remember. I simply called you out for being a little late to the fair. You must have gotten your ass kicked every damn day as a kid and are now trying to get out some aggression. Let it go, see a psychiatrist.

  • As long as it gets you home..

  • spare wont do anything when you bust the axle

  • lol and the spare tire on the back is used for what?

  • @InkStretchPunchScar true what a dumbass XD

  • can't you buy 4 wheels? xd

  • looks like the C-clip blew and the axle shaft started coming out the housing good solution to get it home

  • there is a spare tire on the back...?

  • @kebonebone Why the fuck wear down a perfectly good spare tire when you have a log?

  • @Robert111: Broken axle. Nothing to attach the wheel to. Google "Dana 35 assembly diagram" and have a look.

  • @Robert111 because i'd rather put a normal tire on then use a log that would put an ungodly amount of stress on a number of places, unless the nuts that are holding the spare on are rusted beyond repair or i didn't have the tools to do it.

  • @kebonebone Not the proper size... if it has a locker in the rear and you were to put that tire on the back, it could destroy the gears... also, it may have a broken axle thus making it impossible to put any wheel on.

  • @kebonebone differential might of been broken to where the tire woulndt have been anle to spin

  • @kebonebone

DISCLAIMER: The rear-mounted spare tire is not actually a usable tire, but a hollow plastic decoration made to resemble an actual tire.

  • @SeberHusky no its not, i hope you're being sarcastic lol.

  • @postingstuff500

    It was a joke.

  • @SeberHusky are you a moron? thats a real spare tire you inbred

  • @xXFmxKingXx

Hey you moronic oaf...it was a sarcastic comment. A. JOKE.

Maybe if YOU weren't so inbred, you would have understood it.

  • @SeberHusky so im fighting with a dog on youtube.. wow i need more hobies

  • @xXFmxKingXx

One of those hobbies better be going to school and learning how to spell.

    WOOF!

  • @SeberHusky hahaha, i didnt know youtube hired english teachers. do you not have anything better to do then this? you are a failure. go get a job and get off the computer

  • @xXFmxKingXx

Back at you. Evidently you have nothing better to do either. You continue to chat with this talking doggy.

  • @kebonebone Yeah, it looks like he broke the spindle though.

  • @kebonebone

That must be the fuck tire? lol

  • @kebonebone no lug nuts

  • @jaymanxxxx Then what's holding on the spare tire?

  • @jaysayershuh oops i ment no studs on the hub (snapped off). 8)

  • WTF?? LOL this is awesome. This is a fucking AWESOME outside of the box solution to whatever the hell went wrong!

  • Im guessing you blew out your C-clip.......

  • nice sht.. smart

  • Thank God for lockers

  • there is a spare on the rear?

  • Hey, Its MacGyver!

  • Ballin!

  • C clips strike again.........Been their done that

  • well, it workks...

  • FUCK CHRYSLER ALL TOGETHER

  • Trying drifting...

  • I was wondering: What was the reason you had to use this method? (I assume the lugs sheared or the wheel bearing broke off or something to that effect) Also did you get that on video? And did the Jeep arrive home safe (nothing else broke)?

  • looks like someone can't afford tires but has a new jeep. I can afford the payment but not the maint.

  • umm i see two spare tires on the jeeps one on the broken one and one on the non broken one.......

  • thats the smartest thing ive ever seen

  • Don't they come like that new?

  • recourcefull thinking bud

  • chevy would fuck that heep of shit up

  • @pranksta365

no, on the trail the chevy couldnt do shit that these "heeps" do. keep dreamin bucko

  • hmm not a bad idea for a short drive.

  • Some sort of ski lol

  • well that speaks alot about Jeep, doesn't it? even only with 3 wheels, it will get you home. now that's my kinda vehicle!

  • Crazy stuff lol

  • i was gonna comment, "duurrrr, thur is a spare right thurrrr"

but, i'm smart and read the comments, and have deducted, that is a SNAPPED AXLE!

  • What can ya say, theres a Dana 35 for ya

  • @TheJeepWheeler you know how i feel then, lol!

  • should of just picked up one of the many dana 30 that were strewn across the trail and through it under there not the tree lol

  • Yea, that's Jeep alright, you get what you pay for, and Jeeps don't cost much. Seems like every time I see a Jeep it's on it's side or it snapped an axle. Yay for American "quality."

  • @verasforzza blame the driver.

  • hey it works

  • If someone ran from the police in this, and actually escaped, i would jizz and piss, and laugh at the same time.

  • hopefully it won't catch on fire...
