When you hold the BB key when it's on the home screen and you scroll through the apps that are still open you can close them by pushing the BB button and using the "close" option. You have to leave the main ones open of course like the phone itself, messaging, the browser, BB messenger and the home screen. You have to get in the habit of not pushing the "end" key. It leaves the apps open. Pushing the "back" key will close the apps as well. Or BB key and scroll to "close".
I was walking around costco a few days after I got my storm and I needed a new wallpaper so I saw a case of dr. Pepper and snapped a photo of it....the themes for the storm so far I have found are very hard to come by especially free ones.
Go to google and then go to more then go to mobile and it will have links to download YouTube and maps. Then once you download them they will be in your downloads folder. If you want them to be on the homescreen then click the blackberry button and select move to folder and select home
Also to end applications if your in music just keep hitting back when your on the internet and want to end it hit the bb button and scroll down to close and hit it and it closes it completely
How you turn off the applications is you press the thing you want to turn off and you press the blackberry button and scroll down and theres an option that says end or something like that and that ends it completely
wat would you give this on a scale of 1-10 and do you like to play with it

Can you clear the screen of all apps or must you have a minimum of 8 apps on there at all times?

does it get annoying that you have to click all the time instead of the voyagers easy litle tap?

not at all. I find it a lot easier because you always know that your "clicking" the right option
