  • Don't worry chopper, I avenged you when I shot down all of the 8492nd in the level when you're flying home after taking the fortress.

    ALL OF THEM!!!

  • @poplglop well done, and so has alot of ppl :P

  • i love this game

when i'm playing i fly at everything that plane's got i shoot missles like crazy and fly at full speed all the time (even when you fly through the tunnle)

but this is my fave song in the game

  • Blaze(If I were him): "We've got a situation, doesn't mean we can't handle it. Wardog: ENGAGE!!!"

  • @F14ace Actually I think the reason Chopper gave was that the canopy wouldn't blow. It's a failsafe so that the pilot can't eject and splatter himself all over the cockpit.

  • I'm gonna miss that voice...

  • This was one of the saddest missions i played. :/

  • @JCdenton50 But it has the most awesome music.

  • @shashoni109 Oh hell yeah it does, i like to fly to the music. When the trumpet starts playing i fly into the sun set. :P

  • Grimm: DAMMIT THE AIR DEFENSE SUCKS!

    Choppers: WHERE ARE THE REINFORCEMENTS?

    Nagase: *Random hippie bullshit*

Me (with a shitload of Flankers behind me): WHY AREN'T YOU GUYS HELPING ME!?!

That's how this level went for me...

  • greatest riff to dogfighting untill chopper is hit, then all hell breaks loose

  • as you know osea recruited belkan aces.maybe the plan to destroy osea and yuktobania was being prepared for all the decade and belka might succeed sabotage some of the ocean arsenal.and something else.the adjudant base comandeer was hamilton.he knew about the attack he knew everything.he probably gave the wardog the planes without the ejection system to kill them but it seems the wardog captain was very good to just die like that.

  • "I remember Choppers last words. By the time that scene ended, I went into a wild frenzy and Wasted every target I caught. no mistakes, no chances for the enemy. They took away my teammate and now they will pay for it with their lives". The music feels right for that

  • "Heh heh, I'm going to miss that voice."

  • @crazmnke I liked "Motormouth Chopper"...it seemed like he was the friendliest...RIP my friend Chopper. :-(

  • @crazmnke I like to think of it as a case of Darwin Award, since there were plenty of options available for him to not die; such as just flying outside the city boarders to eject, or just fucking getting out of the combat zone BEFORE his fighter was finished getting shot to pieces.

Chopper; requiescat in pace, you dumbass.

  • @MGlBlaze FUCK YOU!!!

  • @MGlBlaze He couldn't eject all the circuts were fried, His eject seat wouldn't work and he wouldn't have made it out of the combat zone! Even if Chopper tried he would hit the ground before he could... So I think you're the dumbass for... 1: not paying attention and 2:Not replaying the mission to hear the lines. Anywho! RIP Chopper.

  • @Mattavius96 Me not paying attention? The circuits for his ejector seat only fry towards the very end. And please explain to me why he couldn't leave the combat zone before that happened or why he couldn't bring his plane down somewhere else before the stadium emptied? Such as the fairly large body of water not far away? Because people still being in the stadium (where he was going to bring it down for some utterly arbitrary reason) is why he was waiting in the first place.

  • @MGlBlaze He couldn't maneuver the plane too well and yeah I guess your right he could've landed into the water but drowning in my opinion is a terribly way to die but atleast he died quick and painless.

  • @Mattavius96 Drowing? I just said the only reason he was even waiting is because he was GOING to eject but didn't want his plane crashing onto the city (Considering the dogfight, a mute point) and waited so long for the stadium to empty that he couldn't. If he had noticed the big body of water and just sent his plane to crash there, then he could have ejected no problem. But no, he insisted on the stadium and ended up paying for his stupidity (or rather, the writer's stupidity) with his life.

  • @MGlBlaze he could not eject.the plane was cheap and the ejection systems didn't work.probably there was NO ejection system at all.in the next cutscene pops says that grunder industries made three planes in the price of two by removing some parts without sacrifising the plane's speed and performance.it means no ejection system.the best character of the game died for some money.

  • @APOSTASA Which then leads me to wonder if the government are a bunch of Saturday morning cartoon villains. 'lowest bidder' I can understand, but planes without ejection systems? What kind of moron would even BUY that? Or make them, considering how many regulations that would break? Could have led the system to fail somehow (not likely, ejection systems are usually self-contained except maybe for the bit that blows the canopy), but I seriously doubt Chopper was doomed because there was no eject.

  • @APOSTASA Yeah but the planes you're flying in-game are real life planes that do have ejection seats. And Chopper's explanation for the ejections system not working (electrical failure) holds no truth because the ejection system isn't reliant on the primary electrical system. It has a separate emergency system.

  • @F14ace all except for the FALKEN :P

  • the start sounds like the f1 97 psx theme :D

  • and i remeber re doing the mission to try and save CHopper. Him dying was kinda sad, even though he never shut up

  • @AmazingDancingDomino I miss his beautiful voice, wheras he misses thunderheads. Thunderhead was a pain in the ass sometimes, especially when he favors the 8492nd squadron.

  • @AmazingDancingDomino His death is a scripted event. Just like the death of White Glint in Armored Core Fore Answer.

  • I remeber i got sooo pissed during this Mission! and the music made it so much more intense!

  • i remember the mission for this to,the music gets you in the mood to release an unavoidable asskicking.

  • This song reminds me of something that's falling apart little by little...

    setback after setback...

until, BOOM it all goes down!

    RIP Chopper T_T

  • @razgriznagase513 I like that analogy. I like it a lot.

  • @razgriznagase513 You will not be missed.

  • If I had to guess.....This music describes a huge battle where there WILL be sacrifices, but one who will be too much for either to handle.

  • @PhoenixShadow000 Too Many Too Many THERES TOO MANY FIGHTERS Chopper: DAMMIT!

Grimm: You have been hit are you ok

Me: I told you not to talk so much

    Chopper: wha.... CRASH!

  • wats the music you here on this mission b4 this one? it kinda sounds like a national anthem

  • @poopio123 -you might be thinking of "Free Flight"

  • @poopio123 the music your lookin for is called free flight
