They dont make them unique anymore ..i mean like Washington D.C temple , San Diego temple .. those temples and one or two others are magnificent ..so elegant and unique. I just love them . The ones in basil are all similar style..like the cathedral look ..of course its stunning never the less.

The newly-unveiled design for Kansas City Temple is unique, it's a kind of a modern take on the Manti and Logan temples. Also, the Gilbert temple is promised to be "a very unique temple. It won't follow the typical pattern and paragon that has been used in many of the other temples. It's designed to be a very special temple".

Although, I agree. I've been generally disappointed with the architectural variety of the temples constructed in the last twenty years or so.

surley with the current world economic crisis and milions of people starving around the world, wouldnt it be better to spend this kind of money on actually feeding the poor..all that money spent on concerts and fancy costumes ect could feed a whole comunity. i also wonder the cost of all that electricty used to light up the temples..surely this is not good for the enviroment?

Wow 140 temples. Evidence of Heavenly Fathers good will to his children. With every temple that opens more and more people can partake of and live the Holy ordinances. If that isn't evidence Of our fathers love then I don't know what is.
