i have a problem with my BB 8900 with its media card. In the phone system it does detect the presence of the media card(memory card 2gb) and it works fine when i want to save files from bluetooth or BBM. The main problem is that, when i connect my BB 8900 to the computer using USB, on "my computer" section the BB 8900 or either the memory card doesnt appear as tho it doesnt exist and same goes when i trying using blackberry desktop manager.It only detects the phone memory and not media card.

@joseproductions100 Well, I tried a lot of times with the cell phone being without data service, once I contacted my carrier to enable services like facebook, twitter, messenger, etc, the app soft from the blackberry web site allowed me to install the latest version of OS. I was having a hard time, but it was because it was not activated the data service from the company that provides me telephone services, hope it helps!

if i unlock my curve and im using rogers it just uses whatever sim card is in there right? so if i decide to sell the phone in the united states any other carrier can use it pending on the sim card installed and the cell phone plan in which the person using the phone is on will not be altered or tampered with after unlocking a phone?

@Murse20 That's absolutely correct. They will simply need to insert the SIM in the phone and their phone will not change. However some providers such as AT&T will require the customer to have a Blackberry Data Plan in order to use a Blackberry.

@theyozzer2010 No way to reset the counter. Make sure not to use that attempt left or else you will need to send your phone to unlock it. Which provider is your phone from? Send a message with the IMEI/MODEL/Provider and the code they gave you and we will recheck it for you.
