  • if you look closely you can see the suitcase is the armor

  • Soundtrack is called "driving with the top down" from iron man 1 made by ramin djawadi

  • Very Cool--Good Job, Dude-------

  • as is the song that sounds?

  • I'm ready to see the Mark 7 in The Avengers!

  • Does anyone know if the suitcase suit is capable of flight? There has to be a disadvantage to this suit compared to his normal suit.

  • Wish anything I carried in my suitcase was a third that awesome!

  • Mmmmm... Technology porn...

  • Dear santa.......

  • I guess the advantage of the suitcase suit is that he can take it everywhere while his main suit, he needs Jarvis and the rest of his robotics at home to assemble it. Disadvantage: the suitcase suit offers less protection. It CANNOT take as much damage as his normal Iron Man suit.

    Am I right?

  • Damn that was cool !!!what's the name of that song

  • i carry one of these in my bookbag.

  • that suitcase is all i want for my birthday <3

  • That briefcase has to weigh at least 200 pounds. How did the bitch lift it up and throw it with ease!!!????!

  • @mi3456789 Titanium is light as shit.

  • @MrThePandaman so how does he kick the car so that it slides some 30 feet while weighing significantly less? Just not possible, having said that' it's a movie and it really doesn't matter, it's ALL fantasy technology.

  • @LateEarlyBird Titanium being pushed with the force of an arc reactor powered robot is still light at shit.

    But point taken.

  • @MrThePandaman It's not THAT light, and when he's thrown around while in the suit, do you see the kind of damage it does? Yeah, the suitcase should've been heavier lol. Also a little bigger would've made it a little more believable.

  • I like the way CG-artists are trying to make things look believable trough technical eyes.

Of course, spacial volume-wise, the suitcase and body armor resemble each other as much planet Jupiter and a bird... just saying.

  • Years ago Super Saiyan transformations were cool. Now fuck them. THIS is what you call an awesome transformation!

  • Damn That's Slow :P

  • I love this part

  • Steve Martin should have played Iron Man

  • i just bought this off ebay

  • Iron Man, TRANSFORM AND ROLL OUT!

  • Atleast he dressed faster then every other woman in existance :)

  • @SuperIce90 omfg that made lol man fuck that was funny and true :D

  • When are the Banana Republic stores going to come up with something like this? You pull the case out, stomp on it, slide your arms in and 15 seconds later you're wearing a pair of khaki slacks and a three-button henley shirt. It makes good business sense to ME, anyway.

  • for everyone wanting the song just check the tags as i always do xD

but here is the name, Iron Man OST - Driving With The Top Down

  • I want a suitcase like that :)

  • this is better than sex

  • i wonder what airport security would say

  • I get dressed to this music...

  • the armor is much thinner than it is in the mark 3,4 and 6.

  • @aznsorawarrior I think its because its not a normal combat suit, its an emergency suit built to be carred and to be utilsed in desperate emrgency situations, like this one. Thus itsprobably thinner and less reinforced and armored.

  • @cesarmf1 its called Driving With the Top Down, its on itunes

  • What's the name of the song? :D

  • @cesarmf1 I believe it's called: "Driving with the Top Down."

  • fuckin love this scene

  • When I first saw the slow-mo I was pissed because I thought you ruined the scene, but this was actually cool seeing how much thought they put into how the suit works.

  • Amazing Use Of Orchestra! :-D

  • FUCKING SHIT MUSIC FUCK YOU ASSHOLE

  • Search Henshin.

  • Fking laggy zzz...

  • name of the song?

  • whats with the slow motion

  • Guess it's made of plastic since he can lift it up to his body like that...

  • @tezzquill you can see he inserts his hand first 0:14 by that point he has the control of it's arms with that's when he pulls it to his chest not using his own strength but the strength of the armor and plus it's a movie

  • @shaboopie12 Well he only has control of it's forearms which isn't sufficient, and exactly, it's a movie. So I was wondering if the prop was actually made of plastic cos it frigging looks so good.

  • @tezzquill Armor isn't like 500lbs here. If we go by the comic the normal suits are 200 lbs. Pepper picked up the MK V and tossed it to him. Probably a lightweight Titanium alloy laminated over carbonfiber panels. Great thermal protection but not so much with slashing or piercing attacks.

  • aww the new suit got screwed up:(

  • shittiest scene in the movie just created specially to wow the audience with the suit in a suitcase shit

  • one word: WIN!!!!!!

  • dude wats with the fuckin music

  • After looking through comments, some people are getting confused about which suit is which in the series

Mark 1 - Built in the cave in Iron Man 1

Mark 2 - The silver Mark 3 concept that became War Machine

Mark 3 - The first red and gold one, destroyed whilst fighting Iron Monger

Mark 4 - rebuilt Mark 3 with a few small improvements

Mark 5 - Suitcase armour in this scene

Mark 6 - The latest Triangle Chest Piece suit used in the last fight of this film

  • @davyjones800

Sucks to know the Comic armors have nothing to do with the Armors in the movie... xD

This was kinda a Silver Centurion CAmeo.

  • @davyjones800 the suicase it the mark 4

  • @bouchandre No, I guarantee you it's the Mark 5...

  • @bouchandre mark IV is the red/gold armor at the Stark Expo

  • @davyjones800 Hulkbuster

  • @davyjones800 mark 7 - Darth vader!!

  • @davyjones800 *while

  • if this was real wilplash would already be gone by the time iron man is done suiting up

  • Who ever play's the Game Gran Turismo 3 or 4 on Ps2 thats a real race track from the movie he raced on its called "Cote D'Azur, this Track is From Monaco

  • *Heavy Weaponry not included.

  • is it just me or could this be possible?!

  • @peperpig1990 I think it'd be possible to build it but I don't think it'd be possible to power it

  • fuck? did i just heard Sudden Attack Sound Track?

  • They named that suit Happy

  • all of those poeple were just out there and running WTF!?

why dint S.W.A.T. or the cops come in to kick vankos ass seriously

  • @dffdcdesacds if a supers there they say fuck this hes got it under control XD no really if a superhero is there it gives them a reason to flee like pussys

  • How the heck did that all fit in that suitcase?

  • @IamBOXBOY It IS the suitcase.

  • What went through Iron Man's head: "Let's stand still and try to pulse ray him about 4 times, even though it obviously doesn't work, instead of flying (or hell, even running) out of range of his whips, and shooting him in his very exposed head."

    Iron man 1: Awesome.

Iron man 2: Awful, mostly because of this scene.

  • @CoDissilly i heardsomewhere the suitcase suit cant fly...

  • chuck norris has had one of these for years

  • and its 0:08 to 0:11 my bad.

  • thx for playing it slow, now its finally visible how the technology works.

  • Unless you did some slick mixing here and there, it's damn near Eerie how well that song fits the ongoing action of this scene when slowed.

  • Why add music to the scene that wasn't there in the movie? You're not being creative or original..ur just messing things up.

  • That Light glows in the suit's eyes == Suitgasm :P :D

  • i wish we had such advanced techonology :(!

  • BUSTED!!! at 0:18 he doesnt wear the armors shoes but at 0:55 he does. HAHA AND SOME PEOPLE THOUGHT THIS SCENE WAS FLAWLESS!!! HOW THE FUCK DID HE PUT THEM ON WITHOUT EVEN LIFTING HIS LEGS OR JUMPING???

  • @RockLee23100 R u thick, at 0:18 he is putting the costume on his upper body, then at 0:55, he is doing his lower body,

  • @ZakeeProductionz he is wrong bout the 0:18, but check out 0:08 to 0:15, it goes from him throwing it on one foot, and you can see it doesnt click to the other, to the case being wider and on both feet. Didnt notice till I checked for that kids error at 15. I dont care how many flaws there are tho, this fuckin suit and whole scene is badass. Think of how much CG time it took just for him to put that suit on, let alone the million other added effects the movie has..

  • @Gdunn585 Actually it does click onto the other foot, if you could see, when he outs the first one in, u can see properly but if you look at 0:13, it shows that the other foot is connected

  • @ZakeeProductionz lol I know, thats the error its self... the foot isnt locked in at 10-11 and then somehow it is at 13.... but like I said before man, this is fucking amazing... period...

  • @RockLee23100 ok, let's say the armor shoes aren't put on at 0:18, but at 0:25, you notice the suitcase expands downward so between 0:26 to 0:43 it is possible that he lifts his legs (well, not both at the same time) to cover the front side of his legs/feet. then at 0:45 the suit covers the back of his legs/ankles

  • @Dayreel dont forget this is the slowed down version in the real time its like 2" and for those who didnt understood at 0:18 i did NOT mean when the camera shows his torso but the entire suit being lifted from the ground and his legs do not have the suits shoes you can tell because its blue and suddenly they become red

    that was the only mistake

  • @RockLee23100 what i meant was his armor shoes at 0:18 are not put on yet, not until the armor covers his abdomen and legs. you can see the armor drops down at 0:24 to cover his lower body that includes his legs and feet. because the clip shows Tony Stark's half-body, you can assume that he lifted his legs to put on his armor shoes.

my conclusion is that the shoes aren't supposed to be put on at 0:18 that's why his shoes are still blue. the order is torso, abdomen, arms/legs, feet, then head

  • @Dayreel dude why are we doing this ??? doesnt matter whose right or wrong i just saw something that most ppl wouldnt see and you just want to prove me wrong because you enjoyed the movie as much as i did or even more and you just cant stand bad critisism if thats what im doing (im not doing that intentionaly i assure you of that). by the way the movie was fantastic and tottaly worths seeing it a couple times more :)

  • @RockLee23100 if i can't stand a bad criticism (well that's what you think), then you are the one who can't accept the fact that there might be a good explanation for that mistake you're pointing out. what i do is not arguing, it's called reasoning

  • Best damn scene in the 2nd movie IMHO of course. Nice use of the score from the 1st movie as well. It fit the scene well.

  • i wish i had that suit

  • Very nice. Fit well.

  • mirrored for shitty copyrighted infringement

  • sound

  • Musics of the first Iron man are definitely better.

  • I find it hard to believe Pepper could throw that whole suitcase out of a car not knowing it is full of titanium lol

  • @carmgn56 She did know; thats why they were rushing the suitcase to him in the first place, they brought it incase they came across some trouble (which they did) :)

  • @aaronstabury

I know she did know, I'm just saying it must weigh a shitload.

  • @carmgn56 lol probably... but then again, it doesn't look as thick/layered as the other versions of his armours, so must have been relatively light? Oh well lol

  • The physics on the car at 1:26 are wrong, too. The center of gravity would be just behind the front wheel, near the driver's door. In this shot, the main weight, the engine and passengers, are to Tony's left, not to mention that a great deal of friction at the impact point would drag at the vehicle if it were moved. This kick should spin the car off the front right corner and skid it passenger-side along the wall.

  • @GrymmorganITS A MOVIE DUDE, NOT NATIONAL GEO

  • Interesting how the positioning of the hands changes from inside the works of the suit at 0:15 to well outside the suit at 0:19. A little unexplained creative license, I guess. Plus, the deployment of the leg armor through 0:53 results in a thick sole *under* Tony's feet, without him lifting them off the ground. Small stuff. Still a remarkable concept and brilliantly executed by the FX department. Must have took weeks to model!

  • that is awsome! through the suitcase transformation in slowmo. and the music is awsome too.

  • i believe taht this suit is the best Tony has ever made

  • wow dont u record ur t.v. everythings backwards

  • @ 1:50 Now we fights!

  • That's a small suit case for the whole body whered the armor for the legs come from?

  • @Jimmythemoocow it is small but its so cool to watch!!!

  • @Jimmythemoocow mechanically speaking, the iron man suit is mostly a metal shell covering one human body. folded flat, that's only 2-3 sheets of metal. add another 6 inches of inter mechanics, and we're good. in other words....it's in there.

  • Like transformers... thing (pieces) appears fromn ntohing, from nowhere.

  • Put in your title SLOWED DOWN WITH DIFFERENT AUDIO. That would be a nice thing to do.

  • the song is...beast. its that type of song you hear when shit is gettin ready to go down!

  • 1:23 too slow man, nahh just kidding, great vid

  • Now I don't have to press pause repeatedly to see how he transforms.

  • @malicios it is

  • LOL if his hair got stuck in the helmet! :O

  • wat if he had his tongue sticking out and the mask closed on it?

  • @jkills24 then he'd be like OH THUCK.

  • @OJtheModerator lmao

  • Does anybody nows the name of this song, I'm sure it has something to do with Iron Man 2.

  • @thekingoffutbol driving with the top down - ramin djawadi . avaliable on itunes :) enjoy!! :D

  • Great music pick from Iron Man I. This was perfect to show off Iron Man II. You did a very good job on this. Excellent....and great movie as well. Iron Man rocks!!!!!!

  • what are the song names? :D

  • @DarkXFactor14

    You already now???

I now it has something to do with Iron man 2

  • Flying out of whip range would only give Ivan more time to deflect Stark's repulsor blasts.

  • @variablelight They seem to travel through the air pretty quickly. Ivan was using the charge-up time to anticipate.

I wish the Mark V had the anti-personnel guns that the Mark III and Mark VI had (presumably the Mark IV, too, but they're never seen). That would've ended it then and there.

  • it is kind the like the suilver sumtrumn suit

  • Why is this inverted. Coulda swore everything was in the other direction.

  • I would sign a contract saying that I would die in ten years if i could have that suit!!! LOL!!

  • @evilvampire21 lolz what happens if it doesn't work the first 9 years and 11 months?

than you've got rapped verry hard

  • @evilvampire21 And Pepper....

  • @evilvampire21 See you at the cross roads...

  • @evilvampire21 yea man the same hereafter those 10 years the whole world knows you, and youre probably a hero

  • I want one!

  • THAT SHIT IS HOT THE WAY HE PUTS IT ON

  • we'll never know whether he can fly or not with this suit = =

  • @NTornado In the game he can...so long as he stays within the weight limit (for example, carrying another person makes it too heavy to fly.)

  • @NTornado I believe he still can, since this is still based on the mark 3 armor so the tech will pretty much stay the same

  • @Spawnz1810 But if he could, why didn't he fly out of Ivan's whip range?

  • @OJtheModerator I suppose he got caught up in the fight too quickly before attempting to run away. We saw how he used his repulsors first but hey just a guess is all ;)

  • @Spawnz1810 Well, my guess is that he thought he could handle Ivan anyway, and didn't want to ruin his image. But Ivan's first counter-attack disabled his left hand's repulsor, so he probably couldn't fly after that, I think.

  • The portable armor can't fly though. It only acts as an armor with repulsor cannons with mild super strength. For flight capabilities, the boots have to be thicker.

  • @usayeed727 in the book, he does give it some mild upgrades, including limited flight capabilities, better repulsors, and tougher armor. it's streangth is on par with the mark 4 though. and the unibeam is almost as powerful, though a good bit more dangerous to use due to suit overload. he said he'd "make it a much more viable option" as tech became available. so expect to see mk 5 in iron man 3. (here's hoping titanium man shows up too!)

  • @Rougamaru. Dude, the armour used at the beginning of the film is the Mark 4 armour, since it was noticeably bulkier than the one used at the end of the last movie, so Mark 5 was the one with the new Uni-Beam chest piece in Iron Man 2. I was really looking forward to Tony dishing out the Uni-beam on Whiplash, I sure got screwed over.

  • @usayeed727 mark 5 is suitcase, mark 6 is triangle unibeam.

just imagine, tony and whiplash unleashing unibeams at eachother.

    damn, that woulda been cool.

but, as I said, maybe their saving that for titanium man or crimson dynamo, or maybe they'll do an armor wars movie. who knows? but I look foreward to iron man 3.

  • Yeah, but the Silver Centurion Armour doesn't follow the same design as the normal one, so that's why I didn't think the suitcase one was Mark 5.

Agree with you on the unleashing Uni-Beams thing, and maybe you're right about the villains. One thing I don't get is that you got Iron Monger, Titanium Man, Crimson Dynamo and a bunch of other Iron Man rip-offs, it kind of pisses me off that Iron Man's villains are a bit generic and their Armours are obviously no match for Stark.

  • @usayeed727 actually, without war machine, tony admit's he MAY have lost against whiplash and his drones. tony begins to realize he needs to beef up his close range combat skills and tech, he's too ranged focused.

and each of the "knock-offs" eventually become a serious threat to iron man as they too evolve. and while the armor MAY seem generic, the men inside are each a unique character. in his own way, vanko wasn't really a true villain, but a dutiful son.

    I'm hope they avoid modok+manderin.

  • @Rougamaru. I never said anything about War Machine dude. The characters may be different, but the equipment they use to battle Shell-Head are just generic.

I do agree with you on the Modok and Manderin parts, I just don't see the film series pulling them off nicely. Modok's cheesy too, so I definitely do not want to see him.

  • @usayeed727 yep. the armor IS just a bad rip off.

and yeah, they had "the ten rings" terrorist organization, but that's HOPEFULLY as far as that goes, and they avoid manderin. as for modok, if they gotta have him, just make him some generic evil scientist, maybe a cyborg, but mostly a normal human.

I'll be honest, a LOT of iron man enemies probably wouldn't work too well on the big screen.

who would you like to see as the big bad in the next movie?

  • @Rougamaru. Dude, I would have liked to see Crimson Dynamo, but instead they mixed him up with Whiplash, who's considerably lamer than Dynamo. But now, I'd actually like to see a Titanium Man, and how he develops technology that's actually similar to Tony's, that would make awesome action. What about you?

  • @usayeed727 well, maybe the above version of MODOK creates some sort of paralel technology, but requires a genetically enhanced user, and has serious health risks. more powerful, but more dangerous. a double edged sword, as the saying goes. T.M. is a russian black ops super agent (evil captain russia?) who lost his family (grand/parents, siblings, wife, sons and daughters) to stark weapons being misused, and has become TM to create a new world order, a world where all are united under russia.

  • @Rougamaru. Crimson Dynamo and Titanium Man bear tons of similarities. They're both Russian and want to see a world ruled by Russia, except Crimson Dynamo wants a world, a Russia with Communism. I think that's pretty much the only difference.

  • @usayeed727 well, that and dynamo was a bit more ready to blow himself up in order to do it, where as TM was a bit smarter, more cunning. TM always had a plan, back up plans, support, and was willing to retreat in order to fight another day, where as CD would go down fighting, even long after he realized it was a hopeless battle. CD was a son of comunism, AKA brainwashed, TM was his own man, and a true russian patriot. to put it another way, CD was dumb muscle, and TM was a magnificent basterd.
