I'm interested in this kind of stories, but I don't really know much about them. You might have said it already or in another video - in that case I'm sorry, I think I missed that. I just want to know what you mean by feeding off of energy? Do you mean the energy emitted by organisms and objects, or another kind? And how do you do that? There is this story about people called 'breatharians' who feed from the sunlight and oxygen - is it something similar to that?

Metaphysics, by definition can not be experimented on, as it is a (not) field of science that studies the unobservable. They are theories that are "not fallible, testable or provable statements". What studies on vampirism have been thoroughly researched in major intitutions/universtities, and have had thier work published in mainstream journals, or have come under review from several researchers? For that matter, how can one quantify chi?
Chi is a vague word, and as you know, has it's origins in China, when modern medicine, of course, didn't exist. Chi was a way of explaining things which, were not understud then, but are now.
"Metaphysics" is simply an umbrella term to refer to the unexplained phenomena that humans have been observing and interacting with for thousands of years. Just as Chemistry was once Alchemy and Physics was once Magic our new understanding of the subtle interactions between mind, body and our environment will too one day evolve into a "real" science. All science is the product of questioning the known. I would never argue that what we observe is evidence, evidence of WHAT is the question.
Again, you are referring to something which was poorly understood, and thus, was rationalised as best it could be. It is ironic that you believe metaphysics would one day be an actual science, since it would mean setting science back by over a century. Scientific discoveries tend to be an understanding of a phenomena in chemical of physical terms. Not spiritual.
I don't expect metaphysics itself to become a real science any more than I expect alchemy to become a real science. What I expect is that over time our understanding of the reasoning behind this phenomenon will evolve and a new science may be born of it. That's because Idiopathic Hypersomnia is an actual diagnosable medical problem. Vampirism is still seen as Metaphysical, we have no scientific means of measuring or "proving" Metaphysics; the same way Theoretical Science is accepted but still "unproven." I feed on Pranic energy, also known as Chi or Ki; specifically Elemental energies: Of or relating to the Earth and it's elements.
If we take in our hand any volume; of divinity or school metaphysics, for instance; let us ask, Does it contain any abstract reasoning concerning quantity or number? No. Does it contain any experimental reasoning concerning matter of fact and existence? No. Commit it then to the flames: for it can contain nothing but sophistry and illusion.
This is more than some passing solipsistic fad. There are observable reactions that are repeatable through experimentation. The skeptic mind must approach the results of these experiments with the usual objectivity, ensuring that we don't simply support our predetermined conclusions, but the question of "What DOES cause these observable changes" has still as of yet to be answered definitively, leaving the metaphysical in the same realm as quantum theory. Food for thought.
The only other shred of solid evidence I can offer to you other than my own experiences is being diagnosed with "Idiopathic Hypersomnia." It's a physical manifestation of something that may or may not be a part of my "vampirism."

Mythical vampirism refers to the "myth", the fiction. Undead vampires, stakes, holy water, etc. Modern vampirism refers to the social phenomena of vampirism, energy works, sanguine and pranic/energy vampirism. It's on wikipedia under "energy vampire". Look it up.

Blood disorder? 99.9% of the time Sanguine vampirism has absolutely nothing to do with a "blood disorder". Not only do blood disorders have nothing to do with modern sanguine vampirism, but if you watch the video Shade says she's not a blood drinker. Watch before you comment.
