scania is bad for wet time :/ i was driving 142m 0ne year, she's the best for hills, but snow and ice,no way :/ sry my english is weak :D greetings from serbia! :)
@cantybrad its all about saving weight and single drive is cheaper we do have double drive .but our weather is only bad now and a again so it does'nt realy justify the extra expense .
PLEASE DO NOT respond to rkent06,he is a serial post hijacker looking for pointless arguments to fuel his demented ego,a friend of his has told me he does this all the time becuase he has no other aim in life,he only wants to talk to lorry drivers because he has homo-erotic fantasies about them, don't answer his abusive posts this only makes things worse....YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED...cheers for your information D...
@IxiiNsAnItYxI when exactly did i comment on the size of their fleet? i think you will find that i was bringing into question the reputation they have in the logistics industry,i have met enough of the drivers to form an opinion that they THINK they are beyond reproach because they have high profile branding, there are thousands of drivers out there who would'nt even park next to a stobart lorry on the services because of their poor image in our business
@class1king You know what? i totally agree.. wen uncle eddie owned it, it was much better as it was family ran and since he has sold it the company has changed so much they think they are un touchable and Take all the work off the small family run business's as they can afford to cut below everyone else's rates wen i park in the services i wont even give them the time of day let alone praise them, i hope they go under big style wen eddie owned it was a nice family ran transport company.
It is a pity that drivers of both vehicles here should be unaware of the simple tool. With it, you can save not only your strap broken but the time of people all around. Forking out 300 dollars for it might be worth while in a freezing district. It's costly, though.
nope, its the guys whos driving it.

Met Eddie many times, a nice man. Very friendly and generous.
A drivers driver. He had standards, and that is why the Stobbart name is so well known throughout the world.
