  • this is a real treat for us artist''s

  • How the hell do I find my sketches on Icloud? I saved them on Icloud but when I go to Icloud.com I cant see them.

  • This doesn't compare to a Windows tablet using a Wacom digitizer on a pressure sensitive screen...this looks almost silly/child like by comparison.

  • @timotim27 this more or less endorses it

  • 666th COMMENT! o.O

  • That is actually very impressive I think. Mind you AutoDesk are the créme de la créme of design tools. Very good work and brilliant demonstration either way.

  • @johnYthanatmsn who says cremé de la cremé?! is a freaking awasome design app!! yeah, that's sounds cool...

  • Did you do this during an earhquake? the camera is shaky

  • уж больно дерганое видео !

  • Whats the song?

  • Very clever of you, but how can I learn when you go so quickly????

  • thats sick :|

  • Đỉnh quá

  • Participate and win brand new iPad 2. Enter: goo.gl\8ONjl

  • Enter: goo.gl\8ONjl if you want iPad 2.

  • The shaky cam drove me fucking mental.

  • Check out this: goo.gl\8ONjl if you want to win iPad 2.

  • this is why i bought my ipad...!!!

was thinking about getting a tablet but dang the ipad is so much better, and fun.

  • When I'm using it the only problem is that it's not precise.

  • looks mega dumb, why don't they just come out with a pressure sensitive tablet and stylus aimed for digi artist?! these apps are so lame.

  • @surnamematt thyy dooo

  • That's a powerful tool! I've started making speed paints on ipad too.

  • Is this free?

  • Why aren't you using a stylus? That's how I use it.

  • @crlake Where do you get an iPad Stylus?

  • Impressive!

Could you please tell me what's the maximum image resolution on this application? Is it something you can set like let's say in Photoshop? Would you rather use a stylus?

    Thanks

  • This would make a very good Television commercial/advertisement for this application.

  • should I buy Ipad 1 or Ipad 2 if I want to use it mainly to sketch on it?

  • @vleesevlons its not really a waste its bigger so its more easier to use its better for use with ur family e.t.c

  • iPad larger version of the iPod! a huge waste off money!

  • @vleesevlons accualy with the ipad u can do much more bigger screen and see much better and faster.....with the ipad 2 u have a camera that alows u to do wayyyyyyyyyy more than an ipad with an ipad it has a mic that u can call people for free ....so i think the ipad is better :)

  • @valer0ckz12 So what you are trying to say is they took a Ipod and just enlarged it. and made a second version with just a camera. But wait there is more! It has more functions.

  • Get"'"Your.~,IPOD"'"Here'"~

    Copy~,'And"~~Paste~,"

  • if you have an ipad you need this app, even if you get the free version it's awesome !

  • Drawing stuff dont take too long. Its learning thats the real deal.

  • Now this gives me more reason to buy an iPad!

  • @ecoalejo ya there called styluses , they have Many specially made for the iPad my fav is the griffon or targus stylus sells for around 15-20 bucks

  • this is the first app im getting 4 my ipad 2 when it comes this saturday

  • somebody can say me if is it possible to use with some kind of pen? because for me is a little unnatural drawing with the fingers,..thabks

  • I used Sketchbook on my iPod to make my video "Ex-Girlfriend Desktop Screen".

  • How to get a f*ckin headache in the early morning..

A awful video for a great app...too bad.

  • PRO

  • Just wow *-*

I love it and wish me only because now an iPad :D

P.S. I'm from Germany and have it translate lassenn Google

  • Hmmm... Interesting...

  • I hope Mac can come out with a Graphic Tablet.

then they can make lots of money for fulfilling the desire of designers like me.

  • @Yvesyew : im an interior designer and sthing like a graphic tablet would be amazing :))) !!

  • doesn't look all that great to draw with. It is still not a pen/pencil. You are using your finger and if you have ever typed on an Ipad it is not a keyboard either.

Ipad's are great but not for drawing.

  • @themightyflog_"Ipad's are great but not for drawing."

You've got to look at some more vids before making a mighty big statement like that...while coming out of the fog.

    SSHHsh

  • Was he using his fingers?

  • @TheOnlyKarkar maybe because it is a tablet for your fingers?

  • @4studios Well he could have been using a stylus like pen. No need for the sarcasm, I was simply pointing out the accuracy of the application and the artist's skill.

  • @TheOnlyKarkar yeah can you use a stylus with an ipad? I have never used one, I use to use Alias sketchbook pro when it first came out on wacom's or tablet pc's...thinking about getting an ipad. but only if I can use a stylus, I rather not try to draw with my finger. Not precise enough

  • skills

  • Its incredible, and the software is very user friendly... but will it blend?

  • That's nice and all, but can it be used with a stylus?

  • @HarpoonManner Try the pogo stylus, seems to be made especially for iphone/ipod/ipad.

  • the pencil cannot be forget by something like that :D

the real artist is using pencil much then computer....

  • how about a video that isn't shaking like a mother

  • NICE. now i must get this

  • Great program, but seriously needs a resolution bump.

  • Why you guys complaining about the non use pencil and paper? This IS the 21st century after all. Thats like complaining about using a typewriters instead of a computer to type up documents.

  • GOOGLEBOOKS3D

  • WOW this is the best video =D

  • GET:'.A;,;FREE::.IPAD`.',.,

  • Is it possible to export the sketchbook Pro files from the ipad to your PC, and if so what format(s) can the file be exported in.

    Thanks for your help.

  • wowwwwww, wanna get it! it's not a bad price compared to adobe or painter!

  • i like the traditional art as well but think about how many trees you can save by using less paper.

  • so no more use of papers too......

  • is Autodesk SketchBook Pro better for drawing than the photoshop. is it a good idea to use Wacom Bamboo Pen Graphics Tablet in tandem with autodesk sketchbook or photoshop? thanks in advance ( I am a newbie btw)

  • This app looks gorgeous. I have SB Mobile on my iPhone and it's far worse than Brushes and nothing compared to SB Pro.

  • i hope that a friggin pencil and artist pens, along WITH paper will still be around instead. :(

  • Bravo but. How long does this take in real time?..and how long does it take to learn?..

  • don't know about a motorbike but i reckon i can draw a mean stickman

  • can you get it for android too?

  • thats to complicated

  • editing is annoying

  • iPad is best used as a door stop...

  • @1988Zachariah

    Give me 10 good reasons.

  • awesome!

  • why not to make color wheel available all the time on the screen, after hour of warking i already tired just tapping for the color selection.

  • it's a pity that i pad doesn't have an option to work with a pen, this drawing would be such a fun with a pen!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • almost make me wanna have a iPad but only for drawing on it

  • @SNiPeZzzzZzz no shit, im buying onw just for that

  • @nonglotter is that have good experience? i admit it is cool. i also want to have one. but it doesn't sense the presure, does it? i have already have PC+banboo tablet and i don't more money to buy a IPAD2. i hear the window8 will release at 2012 maybe it is good choice to take tablet come with windows 8. than i can use my bamboo tablet with it:)

  • @WeakChopper It depends on the company. For example apple check out their environmental specs. They are outstanding and most of the parts are recyclable. I think the pencil is the worst input device that man has created.

  • @xandshescreamedi Lol, you're so full of BS, I think your comment is the worst that man has created.

  • @tooosweeet lol. you must be one of those backwards thinking people that never evolve. you'll be the bum on the corner while the rest of the world passes you right by.

  • @xandshescreamedi What are you talking about? I'm pretty sure you're a technical dumb ass who just plays around on his ipad all day doing nothing or drawing dicks on the screen. You're either full of skunk scat, or have no sense of perspective. The pencil ranks among the most productive and useful inventions in human history. The Pencil is the worst "input device"? You're comparing the significance of a pencil to an ipad? You're living in an apple ad, stop hitting the bong queen troll.

  • @tooosweeet Eh whatever man. Your right. I got a wonderful ball sack to draw up next!

  • Why use this for game apps when you can use this tablet to conceptualize ideas and present them to a team of architects, engineers, clothing designers, etc.

    Sadly, it's $800 :(

  • this is the only reason i want an ipad!

  • let me warn you about a stylus called iwand or any others from this site beststylusDOTcom!!! Worst product!!! it becomes useless in couple of hrs.

DONT BUY!! I tried several brands, let me tell the griffin and targus are the best.

BTW I love sketchbook Pro :)

  • If you do tutorials let me know im interEsting

  • We use up to a dozen sketchbooks a day or used too. This pad is awesome for sketching ideas and saves a lot of paper and pencils. Still use the paper and pencil.

I am also a hobby painter and have started using the pad for notes and sketches in the field. Love it. I can still draw and paint as well as you homeboy.

  • All you people claiming that "it isn't real sketching if the computer helps you" are just fighting progress. Why disregard another way to express yourself artistically when really that's all art is; expression. There's a reason they call them "the arts".

  • what ever happened to grabbing a fuckin pencil and a piece of paper.?

  • @bonehomie3 it still exists, things like this just allow you to use colour easier and other techniques. Obviously Steve Jobs didnt have old fashioned people like you in mind when he designed the iPad.

  • @cambria666

i just hope people will not forget the good old pencil :(

  • @ENDY238

Digital art is just another "pencil" really. It's just another tool. Your complaint about art being made digitally is like an old gouache artist who has sworn to never touch one of those "newfangled airbrushes!" Again, it's just another tool. No matter how advanced computer software gets, they will never be able to replace the artist.

  • @ENDY238 yep ... but the people have to envolve .... and this is better for de enviroment .. because you dont have to have paper ... and if you do a mistake .. just put new .. and thtas it :)

    but .. youre right !!

  • @ENDY238 blasphemy. the pencil is my best friend :D

  • @ENDY238

    What's that?

  • @UnScriptedFlix Its the wooden thing u hold in your hand when u wanna draw :D

  • @ENDY238 i hope we do. the pencil is the worst input device made by man! plus it requires paper which leads to dead trees and dead trees lead to less air and so on and so forth. I think the pencil will be something that the old folks use. Trust me i love traditional art and i'm in no way ready to give it up just yet butttt this is awesome.

  • @xandshescreamedi

In this case ill be in "the old folks" category

  • @ENDY238 the only problem with that is the excessive amount of paper that you need. but i agree, nothing can replace a pencil and paper, even wacom stuff

  • @ENDY238 Traditional art is dead...

  • @ENDY238 yes, true but Our future is mobility, this saves us time.

I personally prefer still the good old pencil.

  • @ENDY238 I wont ever forget the pencil technique. it is always worth it

  • @ENDY238 you 19th century cunt

  • @ENDY238 as long as touchscreens are unresponsive and irritating to use noone will forget pencils, when touchscreens do get good enough we simply have no need for it. In the same way that tools made of sticks and rocks dissapeared better ways of interacting with art will eliminate pencils, paints and everything we know at the moment... buut probably not in our lifetimes :P

  • What the heck?

Guys why are you just doing this???

In my opinion brushes or pens or pncils or markers OR ANYTHING IN REAL LIFE is much better than this HI-TECH!!!

And in my opinion an artist > a technological user artist

SERIOUSLY GUYS DONT LET THE GOOD OLD DRAWING STYLE MELT AWAY TO THIS!!!!

Take a freaking pencil and try ur best

    Peace youtubers.

  • I'd rather use photoshop

  • it isnt real sketching if the computer helps you... really... and it seems complicated...

  • @heyyrhythm Plenty of the random artwork you find on the internet, is made on a computer...

  • Imagine what this person could do if he had the STYLUS-R-US iWand or Roger iWAnd found on beststylusDOTcom

  • @MrEntrepreneur24 doucccche

  • What song is this?

  • can you import pictures and stuff i am great at photoshop and i see you have a layer option i have a GFX pack of jpg pictures and designs and i import different pics into 1 project ???

  • Let's say I already have an iPad, and I want to draw using Sketchbook pro as a hobbyist. Are you guys telling me to buy a new gadget because using Sketchbook pro in your tablet is easier? LOL!

  • How much is this app?

  • @boechlerbroz 0.99!ON SALE!!!!love it so much!

  • @boechlerbroz 7.99

  • Using this to draw would just really piss me off.

  • @MXR789 Same. 1st, I'd need a pen. 2nd... Well... I would just need a pen.

  • @sazycute1993

Its the zooming in and out that would frustrate me.

  • @sazycute1993

The zooming in and out would frustrate me the most.

  • This was the demonstration of the art & creativity of the person in the video.

Now, where's the SketchBook Pro's Demonstration?

  • which is better. brushes or sketchbook pro?

  • why i always appreciate apple product instead of the app developers?

  • omg I was soo looking for this on the iPad. At 7.99 dollars it's a bargain compared to the Adobe Photoshop. Just wondering does it have pressure sensitivity when drawing? As an art student digital art would be easier to carry around than lugging around huge folders full of drawings. Is there also a stylus that can be used with this program rather like a pencil/paintbrush?

  • @pinkygirl1999 i think you can search around but try typing capacitive touch screen stylus :) hope this helps.

  • @360GameBox thanks cos I'm used to wacom tablets with pressure while drawing :)

  • @pinkygirl1999 Until a third party/hacked pen arrives, there is for now, no real pressure sensitivity. Line thickness and weighting is calculated by the speed that you move your finger or stylus over the surface, so that kind of replicates any pressure sensitivity.

There is a stylus called a pogo, but if you are interested in getting your hands dirty, makezine have a video for making your own.

    Hope that helps.

  • Im waiting for the day my iPad can baby feed me....

  • 50 bucks says he'd rather use a wacom pen

  • stupid people u.u, dont dare to compare a wacom with an I pad, this app is just for fun, if you want a portable work station, I sugest an ibook + wacom cintiq 12wx, or laptop + wacom cintiq 12wx.

  • This video gave me seizures lol.

  • @Razz9119 lol haha goood one

  • @Razz9119 yeah. wtf is with the shaking?

  • perfect painter!)

  • how much is the app it looks awesome

  • whats the song name?

  • SketchBook is my favorist iPad Apps and this is cool!!!

  • "Designet on iPad, California"

  • Only you can't get your pics off the damn ipad!!! ARGH!

  • @anmlkat The program has a mail feature i think, plus when you connect it to your pc you can transfer photos

  • I loveeed eeet, I love how "mac" can design new objects *-*

  • LOOK AT THE!!

sigh... need one of those right now

  • Great.

  • I think you just sold me on an iPad...and SketchbookPro!

  • Would you recommend an Ipad or a Wacom Cintiq?

  • @kaloykoynol Cintiq.

  • @kaloykoynol I would recommend the cintiq brand over Ipad anyday.

Ipad= oversized ipod touch with thicker casing and no pressure sensitivity but able to browse web. cost for best Ipad is 800 plus tax.

Wacom cintiq12WX = pentablet with pressure sensitivity (1024 points of pressure) and a built in LCD with included intuos 3 pen. Price is $1200 but well worth it if youre into drawing, sketching, design and so forth. the 21UX 2nd gen is a big monitor that you can rotate and has 2048 points pressure

  • @mechaart thank you...

  • @mechaart Yes but cintiq requires you to have a pc, so this product is great for outdoor sketches. I have a wacom intuos 4 for my pc and i am really happy, what i need now is something i can carry outside as well...

  • @mstdesigns A false dichotomy. I have a Lenovo X201 Tablet. It has a Wacom digitizer with 512 (7-bit) levels of pressure sensitivity and a super bright screen for the outdoors. It already beats the iPad.

  • @Xenodamus My Tablet has 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity and 2000 lines per inch, and It's a widescreen with 250 x 150 mm :D

  • @sazycute1993 I was just thinking that... with the iPad it seems like you have to select the levels of pressure you'd normally have when you press a pen/pencil really hard. With a tablet laptop, it already recognises pressure... so it's easier!

Plus, I was so disappointed that they didn't come out with amazing handwriting recognition software/a pen attachment with the iPad... would have made it very appealing for me to switch from my tablet PC!

  • @kaloykoynol They are totally different products. Cintiq requires you to have a pc so you can't really carry it out on the street with you, and is mostly for professional use, while this is for sketches...

  • i found sketchbook pro laggy compared to art studio

  • thx for the demo love the app didint no about it till this vedeo so thx

  • awesome video!!!!

  • They should make a stylus for this
