Mt Carroll Illinois to Chicago

I went looking for this bridge today and went a few miles south of Mt. Carroll and I could not find it!! Love the bridge and would love to find it...could you be more specific about the location?? Thanks!

Enjoyed the pictures of Shimer college campus, I was born and raised in Mt. Carroll during the depression....How close is that beautiful covered bridge to Mt. Carroll?
