You can only buy this cartoon series through wbshop.com and you can't play it on a computers' dvd-rom. Theses discs were not designed to function on a dvd-rom. If you want to play these dvd-download discs, you need a "Play-Only" device like a dvd player, Blu-Ray player or PlayStation 3.

While i don't claim to be a serious fan of this TV series-"THE DUKES" cartoon is

another rare example of the TV turned toons syndrome,that started in 1973,when

almost all the cartoons that primered that year,were spin-offs of many popular TV

series. in this 1983 cartoon series by Hanna-Barbera,CBS was still riding high on

its success with "THE DUKES OF HAZZARD" series,,so as strange as it may be,

a cartoon spin-off for this show was not too suprising-but ironicly,Warner Bros.

I'm sorry but since this collection is a wbshop exclusive, the only other way to buy this collection is to buy it used from dvd store. Also, this collection will not play on pc dvd-rom drives. You will need to play these discs in either a PlayStation 3 or a regular dvd or blu-ray player that is connected to your tv in order for these discs to play. The reason for this is because the discs all say "dvd download". Only dvds that say "dvd video" play in pc dvd-rom drives. Continued...

This is from an era where the kids watched tv with their parents and enjoyed the same shows. Of course they were all made into cartoons afterward, but it's amazing how many of the actors did the voices for their animated counterparts.

What would they have now? Friends, the animated series? Dharma and Greg's Happy Vegan Funtime? There's already been a few versions of Star Trek on cartoon, so they have the science fiction aspect covered. What next?

@westcoastlife007 The Dukes cartoon ran for 2 seasons on CBS in 1983 with Byron Cherry and Christopher Mayer as Coy and Vance for season 1 and in season 2 with John Schnider and Tom Wopat as Bo and Luke. I do believe this was the same time in TV series where Byron and Chris filled in for John and Tom while the original Duke cousins had left the show due to contract problems. In 1981 Chrisotpher Hensel appeared on an episode as Jeb Duke.

I happen to know of a lot of cases in which black people as well as other minorities protested to the use of the Confederate flag. They said that it was a symbol of pride of being the decendents of slave owners. Oh course people from the South acted shocked and apalled by that accusation! They said that the flag and nothing to do with slavery or hatried. However, I never heard this being debated in regards to the "Dukes of Hazzard". Any ideas about why?
