  • This film is great.

  • wonderful

  • Greenaway was the never as good without Nyman. Somehow Nyman's music injected an excitement into his films that have sadly been lacking ever since they fell out. C'mon guys, it's time to make-up, please!

  • hmm, haven't seen this before. It looks alright :)

  • *Greenaway

  • Terribly boring but wonderfully picturesque. I think greenway knew it would be hard for audiences to pay attention through the whole film... it wasn't stupid though.

  • Does anyone know the music used in this?

  • @kingz2 The music is by Giovanni Sollima, its called Violoncelles, Vibrez!

  • I don't mind seeing this movie. I'm a big fan of Greenaway.

  • Good film, but definitely not one of Greenaway's best.

  • Then you obviously haven't seen many bad movies. This film has its flaws, no doubt, but one thing it's not is stupid.

  • yeah maybe u r right ... maybe i havent seen many bad movies but this one was one of the most stupid really!

  • If you say so, its clear you don't understand it is an art film made for Rembrandt's 400 birthday anniversary, its framings describe the world as flemish painters used to see it through their creations. Maybe weird but never stupid, bud.
