  • @Kaitlynn992 You cant tint white chocolate but it must be oil based colours otherwise the chocolate will clump up

  • @yoyomax12 So like a paste food coloring?

  • @Kaitlynn992 Could be paste, as long as the package says "candy colours" or something to that effect.

  • @yoyomax12 Great! Thank you very much! :D

  • @yoyomax12 You spelled "color" wrong

  • @rebornlover36 No I didn't, this is the Canadian and British spelling, look it up. We also spell labour, neighbourhood and behaviour differently there are many many other spelling differences as well.

  • @yoyomax12 I Thought You Lived In United States At First

  • hi bye

  • Are the candy melting wafers candy or chocolate? O.o

  • @yoyomax12 does it taste good ,the candy .hope it tastes like chocolate

  • @bomapdich The chocolate coloured candy tastes like chocolate, the other colours taste a bit like white chocolate.

  • @yoyomax12 and is it worthed to eat them like snack instead of eating the real chocolate

  • @bomapdich Real chocolate is much better than this candy in my opinion. The wafers are just easier to use as there is no requirements to temper it like with real chocolate.

  • @yoyomax12 thank you , you are a real sweet heart

  • @yoyomax12 :)!! how much do you get your candy melts? mine are $3 a bag:( they're way too expensive! and also even more at the website

  • @MacBookPro56 They are expensive here as well, but the advantage is that I can buy them at our local bulk food store so I only have to buy a little of each colour for a project a lot less money

  • I love candy melting wafers. I get them from Bulk Barn too! They come in so many different colours ^.^

  • I love your tree! I want to eat it! l0l

  • @gnossticc Thanks for watching!

  • where can i get the molds online??

  • @GAGABOY999 Google chocolate molds and you will get many online stores that sell them. I can't recommend one for you because I've never purchased any online

  • What are candy melting wafers and how do they taste?

  • @trololist They are wafers of candy that you can melt and mold, they taste a bit like white chocolate

  • I love this idea.. but i wouldnt add all the candy melting waffers to the mold-- bc candy melting waffers dont taste as well as chocolate

  • @stephanienkylie Chocolate is a lot better tasting, you are right about that :)

  • ive benn wanting to do that!!!

  • we need importation lol haha i live in mexico but i couldent find the waffers :/

  • @chchln17 To bad.... they can be purchased online apparently, I've seen them on the Wilton and Merckens websites. Don't know if they ship to where you are though

  • Hello tammy, i love your channel, i really loved this vidio soo much i really enjoyed watching it, 1 question, candy melts are just like chocolate, but when i put chocolate in a squeese bottle the other day, there wasnt alot of it, but it wouldnt come out. So i had to add butter and milk to it formy cupcakes. Thanks so much!

    Liccy xxxx

  • @liccymjlover I'm glad you are enjoying my videos. The candy melts are not quite like chocolate. I have had issues with certain colours not melting as well as others. You just need to heat them gradually in the microwave at 50% power for 30 seconds at a time and keep stirring/shaking/squeezing the bottle during the melting.

  • @yoyomax12

Hi tammy, i tried to put my squeeze bottle in the micowave and.. it burst! XD

im putting up a vidio of it soon, the bottom on if burst! haha!

    Liccy ~ xx

  • @liccymjlover

    Thanks, ill deffinatly try that!

    Thanks so much xx

  • even though the candy melting wafers are different colours do they all taste the same

  • @321677841 The chocolate ones taste like chocolate. The other colours taste like white chocolate, they differ slightly in flavour with the colour of the wafer but not much.

  • Instead if using Candy Melting Wafers, can I just use white chocolate with food coloring?

  • @kaleighfoley Sorry I've never tried doing this, so I don't know

  • how much was the mold?

and where do you get candy melting wafers ?

  • @daniqua11 The molds were about $5-6, I bought the wafers at a bulk food store but they can be bought online or at certain craft stores

  • What do the candy melting wafers taste like?

  • @CrazyyWild21 the colours taste kind of like white chocolate and the chocolate ones are chocolate flavoured

  • @RockPrincess13sc Thanks, you are very kind. :)

  • Can you make a video of how to make fondant? thx

  • @miavivianwazzup I have never made fondant because I don't like the way it tastes.

  • Where do you buy those trays?

  • @miavivianwazzup At a bulk food store called the Bulk Barn, but you can purchase them at some craft stores .

  • I meant the melts lol, but im sure you do but I always end up with worms all over the bag :-/ so i brought a box of disposable ones instead im to hard on the zip bags

  • Brings back memories of me doing this with my family when I was akid. Only we used small paintbrushes instead of Ziploc bags for the detailing

  • Why doesn't Max do those cute jokes anymore? :(

  • @kaleighfoley We ran out of jokes and he has to be in the mood to record them! We were actually discussing this very fact this evening and he said that he would like to try it again :)

  • maybe show us what the packaging looks like with candy wafer just incase its just another name we use differently

  • @Travelfun4ever There is no packaging I buy them at bulk food store. Google Merckens candy melting wafers and you will see what they look like. They are also called candy melts, Google Wiltons candy melts

  • @yoyomax12 Im going to the UK in Feb so im planning a suitcase full lol of everything, you should see thee cake pop book they have its awesome. How many bags do you go through

  • @Travelfun4ever I have lot of zip lock bags, lol!

  • max is hot

  • @XxThatBlondeChickxX I will let him know you think so. :)

  • @yoyomax12 please do :p

  • i love your videos!!!

  • if you live in the us you can go to micheals to buy the molds and the melting wafers ^^

  • wow your so creative, I love it! Can I just use white chocolate mixed with food coloring i stead of the melting wafers because i live in the UK and i dont think they have that here.

  • @phillygalflex You can't add any kind of water based colourings to chocolate, the melted chocolate will become lumpy. You can purchase candy melting wafers on-line though.

  • Cute

  • those are so cuuute! :D

  • I am so going to use this next year at Christmas.

  • That is very cute.

  • wow ....... dis is so easy and kool !!

we dont get such things here in india :(

  • Seriously I keep watching this, it just turns out amazing at the end (during the video I was a bit apprehensive) but the final product was just so perfect. A chocolate jewellery box...its so very inventive.

    Ps. 3:31-3:33 was coooool :P

  • YOU LIVE IN CANADA I DIDN'T KNO THAT

  • i found candy melting wafers but they arnt called that they are melthing chocolate and it has a strawberry on the front like u can make those but they are the same thing

  • @SuperCococola If it says melting chocolate then you probably can use it to do this kind of craft

  • Gorgeous! I've wanted to make chocolates like these for some time, but I've never had the courage to do so; I think I shall now!

Do you have any thoughts on using melted down chocolate bunnies for the fillings?

  • @NvrTryNvrFail Some kind of chocolate once melted will not solidify properly afterward because it hasn't been tempered. (google "tempering chocolate"). The melting wafers don't have those issues because they aren't "real" chocolate, they are a candy confection.

So...only one way to find out! Give it a try and if you do let me know how it turned out.

  • They look cute as can be! It IS amazing when you unmold them and see the finished side.

Merry Christmas to the three of you!

  • This is really cute.. I never knew what those little meltable wafers were used for... now I know!

  • Tammy that is so pretty! You make the coolest things! Hugs! I hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas! Hugs!
