What I wouldn't give to be able to sing like he did. I never saw or heard him much as a child. But as I began to get a better grasp of what singing was all about I discovered Matt Monro. Along with Frank and Andy, Matt ranked at the top of my list of singers to respect and learn from.

For years I have listened to so many different kinds of music being 39 this stuff was not out when I was a little laddy. But it just never ages his voice is so pitch perfect just wish he was still here would have loved to see him live. When I was a teenager I heard Matt Monro sings Born Free and even though I did not speak English, I liked his voice. Now, that I can speak and write English I have been hearing some of his music in YouTube. He was incredible and had a wonderful beautiful voice. A crooner.
