A Former PSA/US AIrways Express Dornier just passed thru Bangor International Airport the other day. Not sure where it was heading but its the third one to pass thru, the others were heading over seas, Im pretty sure this one was heading that way as well. Great to see them again, as an employee for US Airways in Bangor, seeing them bring back memories of working them.
I flew N258PS at US Airways / PSA and it so sad to see it sitting there. As a flight attendant Flying the Dornier was the end of the good ol' days of flying. I would do almost anything to work it just one more time at US Airways, but please no Kalamazoo turns :-)
The Dornier planes at the San Marcos airport are Not being parted out. They are being repaired for a Company in Germany. One of the planes has already gone back to Germany.
N328LS was the very first aircraft I ever served on as a flight attendant back in the days of Lone Star Airlines in the mid '90s before we went out of business. Hard to see my plane in pieces :-(
Looks like I need to swing by the San Marcos airport and see which one of these planes is left.

I've never watched a plane being parted out before.... somewhat sad, but very interesting.... Reminds me of the Arizona graveyard...
