  • well done, is the project still going on? I wish the world would support a container city for disaster relief area.

  • Your thoughts best shield be beautiful best.

    Thank you

  • disasters often offer corrupt governments the opportunity to enrich themselves. The U.N. and World Bank should set up a trust fund to manage the money from donations coming to Haiti.

In the meantime shipping containers can be a safe and cost-efficient way of providing long term shelter which in turn could be optimized by converting the same containers used to ship food and donated goods into dwellings.

Sorry Shigeru Ban but paper tubes won't do in this type of climate.

  • Great video, Great music, beautiful craftmanship

  • What is the name of the song/group

  • ram is the band. richard morse is the lead

  • When you see other videos of the ISO's stacked in mostly the US unwanted its then you see the shanty towns in some other countries it is not impossible to see the potential that a charity could achieve shipping unwanted containers.

No matter how basic its more than some could ever achieve with places like schools etc.

  • hey, can anybody tell me where these things -aren-t- 'piling up' except china? problem is, though, in the USA, it costs about a buck a YARD (meter) to have these moved (due to diesel prices). too bad

  • how much did it cost to build one like that?
