i have a data plan on my HTC HD2 but i dont have the Tethering feature. Do i need the Tethering feature from t-mobile ($14 monthly) to do what your doing? i would like to get internet on my laptop. Please advise.

Man, thank you so much for posting this!!! I had been struggling with this app that makes the HD2 a wireless hotspot and never could get it to work!!! Then I tried what you posted and it worked flawlessly! I was worried about battery consumption using this method, but now I see it charges while it's connected. Wow!!!!! @iseatht I don't know about the Wildfire I have an HD2 all I do is connect my Hd2 up to my laptop and connect using Internet sharing on my mobile device and it works just fine

This connection is good for browsing but not heavy gaming

The reason I am asking is because when I first purchase my HTC I call the tech support and ask them about this Internet sharing feature and what they told me is they do not support the model I have which is ( Leo) well I know someone that has the same model HTC as I do and he said I can use this feature and he was right ss instructed in this video. Do you have the same model as in this video?
