You are fucking kidding me right? I literally was looking for clips to lambast this movie and I couldn't find any. All it did for me was wish I could kill the people who made it. Let me spoil it for you... he talks to his fish, pretends to have a relationship with a girl he imagines gets shot by his coworker, after killing the coworker. Then he imagines this now parapalegic woman wanting to have him fuck her even though she can't feel her lower extremities out of some weird version of love...
I'm really glad you reviewed this movie, because to be honest, even though I've loved it for a while now, I never truly understood the ending. So thanks for clearing that up. xD
and if youre talking about the trailer that says dream all over it.. that isnt misleading at all. if you see the trailer than the ending isnt exciting at all.

Just watched that trailer you mentioned. Your right. Its pretty much the opposite of the true essence of the film. But I guess it adds to that twist at the end of the film.
I saw this movie the other day on TV and I was just shocked that I had never even heared of it before. He Was a Quiet Man was an AMAZING movie. It will probably go down as one of my favorits.

He didnt go through with it one time. The 6th bullet was meant for (he never mentions, but most likely for Venesa) This time when he loads the gun, it seems like he was about to go through with it. But he drops the bullet, and realizes Coleman had done the job.
The 6th bullet was Venessa, she did not die, as it did not get loaded into the gun. 5 people died, killed by Coleman exactly the same amount Bob had in his gun. Venessa survives but is paralyzed etc. Many people miss the underlying story

Coleman is an anagram of Maconel, so I am pretty sure he didn't exist and was some kind of alter-ego, as for Vanessa I've no idea, I've only watched it once so I'm gonna check it out again, I think the Hula girl could be related to Vanessa as it's head snaps off and her lower body is paralized, I need to see it again though.

Well it was SUPPOSED to be funny so I guess you missed it haha. It's called "black comedy". There's lots of jokes throughout the movie that I guess you didn't pick up on.
Also people only die at the very beginning pretty much. Right after that it's funny when Bob talks to the shooter.
