I was at this show, I actually remember the guy on the floor with that camera sticking up in the air. It was an intense crowd, I remember this drunk guy tried to start a fight with my friend. But yeah, you all know the story of why the show ended.
Some lighter got hot and the guy either accidently threw it at trent or intentionally did it. The point is the hot lighter hit Trent during Hurt, he was insulted and walked off stage mid song. The touring band (Josh, Jeordie, Aaron, Alessandro) kind of stood on stage a minute dumb-founded and eventually left aswell.
The show ended pre-maturely and it pissed off alot of people and Trent didnt play hurt for the next couple of shows.
Yeah my friend was also at this show. He said that Trent was so pissed that he never would come to play again in GR. Is that true? I hope no because I live there and LOVE NIN.
i just wish the show here in portugal had more of a visual component, like this one did! more than a decade waiting to see a NIN show and it was like back to the garage days!! it was great nevertheless!

yeah but i've been to three other nin shows and all of them have not been as bad as the grand rapids one. maybe i just had bad luck that day. NIN crowds though are usually pretty good for helping people like me, who fall down alot, from getting there head crushed in.

this was the best opening song I've heard/seen them use.
Espically in Erie, I was front and center, he had the curtain up, he just ran right up in our faces and started screaming the song.

Yeah, I don't know that much about Grand Rapids but I'm pretty sure there are assholes everywhere, so there's really no avoiding them.
