Dennis is great,I'm sure David could sing Dennis' parts on those songs, considering that they required a gritty lead voice,something that RUffin had,but those songs capture the other Tempts voices as well,which made those songs special

You can say what you want About David Ruffin and it's all deserved but you acan't take anything from This Man Dennis Edwards He stands on his own. Watch him on the in the studio clip and you will see that even today he can still make hits.

No Temptations fan wanted David Ruffin to leave.....but weren't we lucky that Dennis Edwards was there to bring the group into the next era of the Temps.......and aren't we lucky that Dennis is alive and well and sounding great to carry on the legacy. Yes, Otis and his guys are doing their thing. But Dennis Edwards is the man who really carries the torch and keeps the flame going. Props to Dennis.

All I can say is that when David Ruffin was replaced by Dennis Edwards, it meant one legend being replaced by another one. Dennis is a legend himself.

I just love Dennis's candid approach to the issue.
