  • @xXBOst someone already said it in another video, what a fag u cant come up with ur own stuff so u copy ppl so u can be accepted in the net,,loser!

  • uchiwa mata!!!

  • FINISH HIM!!!

  • HA i just learned that yesterday!

  • Judo as a child and I learned when I studied Physical Education, but my passion is karate, which I have dedicated many years of my life. This technique (Uchi Mata), I have applied in actual combat, but otherwise ensuring first with some kind of blow to the face.

  • or from that stance at 0:00 you could pull off a Juji Gatame.

  • Does it really matter if it requires more than double the energy if its off by one inch? He just said that if it was done correctly, it would require almost no energy.

    2 x 0= 0

  • metal men are cool :P

  • This makes me want to watch Yawara again, lol, if I remember right this was Fujiko's signature throw

  • fyi these people make it seem way too perfect

  • นี้มันท่าขุนยักพานางนี้หว่า

  • @xshadowlightxx this isnt a spelling contest "boy" also im not saying that its the oldest form of martial arts im saying its one of the most oldest martial arts that still lives on today. also many throws were created by kano not japanese jiu jitsu so get your facts straight kid

  • also known as Can - Can in judo language

  • @xshadowlightxx how would judo steal from any other martial arts its probably one of the most oldern martial arts that is still performed today

  • Comment removed

  • @xshadowlightxx Yes there is Judo in MMA because MMA is a mix of martial arts ? its not stolen from Judo its people using Judo in an MMA competition , you need to actually learn something and not just asume stuff after watching one to many UFC's !!

  • btw to anyone who doesn't do judo this is not a simple throw so don't go trying this on your friends or anyone else

  • @xshadowlightxx mma is not a martial art.

  • @xshadowlightxx MMA means mixed martial arts...

  • Time to go hurt someone, lol

  • @xshadowlightxx MMA doesn't steel anything, MMA isn't even a form of martial arts, it's a sport.

  • It is a good technique, but is it unique to Judo? I could have sworn this exact same thing done in other martial arts

  • thank god they dont have genitals, or they'll reproduce

  • The original scoring rules for judo you would only be awarded a score if the referee determined that the throw would have incapacitated your opponent if the situation was in self defence. Incapacitation means breaking the shoulder, hip, or back. Early competition periodically included fatalities. Modern judo has gotten away from that early brutality but a competant practitioner could convert their techniques into lethal variants with little training.

  • and the rest of their bodies weight goes down on their arm and it snaps, a common mistake made by alot of my friends when i throw them and i do it slow so they dont break anything, i dont show them how to fall either, and they all fail, if i threw them for real there may not be broken bones, but it would hurt them enough that they wouldnt get back up before i kick them in the head if it were a real fight, do a rollipolli on concrete, see how just that hurts your back

  • will learn and gona test on some body at real fight lol

  • what software are these clips made with?

  • 0:12 ass rape

  • love the sound effect of the impact O.O

  • It works I thought you would have to like ninja to do this but nope it works!!!

  • The truth is, you cannot deny physics. One well placed judo technique, no matter how basic it is, can cause injury off of the mat. My friend was thrown using Ipponzianagi (spell check please?) during a demo and landed on the mat...... all except for his ankle. His ankle was broken. Good thing he properly broke the fall.

  • humans are fucked if they ever get out from that room o.o

  • @alekjensen ahhahhahhha finally a good top comment in a while, you made my day

  • @alekjensen LMFAO! That we are!

  • What are you guys smoking?! Paralysis?! Leave the kid alone! It's a fall on your butt/side/thigh from two feet high - you might feel it, but you'll live... It's what happens to you after you get thrown that you gotta worry about - likely a heel-stump to the jaw if I was the guy on top... :)

  • @shmuckling Oh right!! Silly me! You must be right then! What was i thinking!! I think then next week i will teach my class on the concrete floor! Thanks for the advice!!! lol!! Then again say that to my stable mate in the welsh judo team who he had to be flown over to america for life saving treatment after ripping his spleen in a competition!!!! You have no idea what you are talkin about!!

  • @imajeed2 I stoped reading at "welsh judo team", key word "welsh"... I did Judo, Wrestling and BJJ, I've spotted many for practicing their throws, mostly in Judo, but yeah - I have no idea what I'm talking about. I mean if you catch bad luck you can kill yourself tripping on the sidewalk, but that doesn't make the sidewalk a lethal weapon, it's just tragic and might possibly mean that you had poor coordination at the time, but even that's not for sure. Oh, btw, I love exlamation marks, thanks...

  • @shmuckling Ooooh!! Judo, Wrestling, BJJ, WOW! Im in awe! Your my hero! Ignorence really is bliss in your case!!! When dealing with my pupils safety week in weekout i take my sport and martial art deadly serious!! Yes you could have an accident such as hurting your finger when typing in "welsh", Key word finger!! Fact is If you put your self in the firing line of anything your odds of getting hurt go up tenfold!! Oh im sorry about exlamation marks!!!! I Apologise!!!!

  • @imajeed2 (Yawns, considers mastrubating)

  • Paralysisis? haha

  • I cam e here to learn how to fight...not paralise someone

  • was gonna refute the top commenter's statement with a reply...but i think a bunch of people beat me to it lol

  • Ive done this to people on the mat or street or in the house just messing around maybe 60 times in my life. This is the most effective take down that exists just to get an opponent off his feet. I do like using the under hook as well and put some muscle into it to make the trip over your body a bit faster and with more force.

  • The Silver Surfer got some moves!!!

  • 0:12 whats that? o.0

  • HAHAHHAHAA with the amount of times I've performed this move/it's been performed on me I should know that in no way would this cause paralysis and it barely even hurts..

The most damage you will receive from this is probably being winded if you don't know how to break fall.

  • @wubs23 I guess you wasted 10 years of your life then. The video specifically states the uchi mata would be on concrete and assumed no breakfall ability.

Unfortunately, the techique shown in this particular video is awful though.

  • 0:23 BALLS

  • I do bjj and i have seen a white belt bjj beat a black belt judo master

  • lol 00:21 balls???

  • i think a O-goshi is easier to do and more effective. you have to remember that your opponent isnt standing still like this grey fellow

  • If your sending guys to the hospital doing uchi mata on the mat then your doing it wrong you should always protect your uki and help break his fall its no fun training by yourself

  • @jtrekmadone when doing uchi komi you should always take great care 2 do the technique correctly and not 2 hurt anyone but as you and i know that is not always possible as everyone is at different levels of learning and will not have the same control as a more experianced judoka!! Children have a tendancy 2 want 2 win even if its a light Randori session or koka training and dont realise thier own strength when fighting smaller and inexperianced pupils!! Uke's Ukemi training is vital 4 safety!!

  • why is it the whiter grey dude is always the one kicking the darker grey guys ass? racist bastards.

  • 00:10 SURPRISE BUTTSECKS IMMINENT

  • back in days we didn't have Hoo chee ma'ma!

    Hoo Chee ma'ma looks dangerous!!

  • this move can be countered by grabbing the far side of the opponents waist

  • @wubs23 I did judo for more than 12 years and if you fight against someone who is unexperienced he can fall on his head and the pressure to the neck can paralyzse him.

  • 5000lb of force? Isn't force measured in Newtons? S.I unit.

  • 00:13 there humping ;p

  • Thank you human weapon I Just KILLED MY LITTLE BROTHER (just kiding)

  • no. simply no.

i did judo for over 10 years, and there is no way uchi mata would cause paralysis or serious injury.

    not in a million years.

  • @wubs23 maybe if you throw somebody whos not a martial artist.

  • @wubs23 thats because ur throwing someone wo knows how to break fall u fuken retard u must be the stupidist judoka to say that do uchimata to sum1 wo doesnt even know wat breakfalling is im telling you they will hurt themselves one way or another ive seen neck injuries, and broken hands, paralysis havnt seen that but im sure its very posible if u broke ur neck wen u fall u could easily damage ur spinal cord

  • @alphie10 okay, mister judo expert. whatever you say must be right.

  • @wubs23 how old r u? u sound like ur 10

  • @alphie10 you start insulting, so i highly doubt you would understand even a 10 year old. For your information, im 22 and a university student.

  • @wubs23 i did not insult u in any way :) and okay.

  • @wubs23 Yeah I know, once he lands with thousands of pounds of force to the concrete hes going to walk away just fine, hey and maybe you and these gray people should go have butt sex while your at it to

  • @wubs23 He is talking about pussies

  • @wubs23 try doing it on concrete with an uke that doesn't know how to fall ... still think he won't be hurt?

  • @krezivan no, it will hurt. but not seriously injured.

  • @wubs23 Well I wrestled in high school and used a very similar move called a hip toss in a fight outside in the grass and that guy was out cold even before I started slammin him with punches. On a wrestling or judo mat ya this probly wont knock someone out but on grass or god forbid concrete or asphalt hell ya they aint getting back up after this.

  • @bjjalltheway1 Especially if they don't know how to break their fall. When I had to stop with judo because of an injury I started karate. Once during a match someone came to close and I threw him without thinking. Well he didn't get up for at least 10 mins. Fall flat on his back, whilst bouncing his head 5 times on the mat.

  • @wubs23 it would if u throw them on to a concrete floor

  • @wubs23 it would if u throw them on to a concrete floor

  • @wubs23 I believe they are talking about it performed at high speed on an unsuspecting amateur LOL which is being a jerk

  • @wubs23 well, a week before, i would have said the same, but now i have to say you're wrong! on the street, i had to use the technique some days before, and the asshole who attacked me got a paralysis! didn't kill him, but he really didn't look happy... ;)

  • @wubs23 I think that this on a concrete surface would really couse serious injury... Dude

  • @wubs23

How many times a week are you training? Judoka with mind in the tiny box of the dojo. Uchimata is very dangerous for legaments of Uke's leg (between groin and leg.) If you will be outside the dojo with shoes on, the leg will not slip so easy and there is big chance of serious damage near the groin part and paralysis from hitting your back on the ground (even on the grass you can loose your breath).

  • @wubs23 I've done Judo for over 20 years and have personally sent people to the hospital with throw, and I was throwing them on mats. You must be off by an inch.

  • @wubs23 Agreed. Did it for 12 years, and I'm kinda surprised watching this lol

  • @wubs23 but if you make the uchi mata to a guy that doesnt know how to fall and you do it in in a hard surface like concrete it might cause serious injury, remember that all martial arts are practiced in a soft floor like a tatami or a ring

  • @wubs23 oh yeah but then you have these shows like human weapon and deadliest warrior that are run by NOT acclaimed experts but just people who like to hear themselves talk

  • @wubs23 well maybe it would if you werent on the mat because yeah im starting to do judo to

  • @wubs23

no serious injury? I know a guy who had to have his balls (sorry for the language) surgically removed from the inside of his abdomen, after beeing trown by an uchi mata in the wrong way... how's that for a serious injury?

  • @wubs23 how about on concrete? I've heard it makes judo alot more "painful"

  • @wubs23 ehhh...I don't know. Paralysis, no, definitely not. But serious injury? I'm inclined to say yes. He says "if it weren't for the mat" and I can think of several situations where this would/has resulted in hospitalization. My friend was attacked in a parking lot(alcohol was involved) by a group of jersey shore types and threw the first one like so(he's a wrestler and used underhook and arm pull rather than the clothing) and that guy definitely went to the hospital...

  • @wubs23 i agree, with that in a judo competition no way, but im assuming he is talking about preforming it on concrete, in street conditions. where i think it would cause severe injury if done well.

  • @wubs23 Even on concrete??? In sparring, maybe not, but done correctly yeah... but only slight paralysis. Enough to finish. But don't finish!!! Even if life in danger, never finish!!! D: Imma just shut up now... sigh... ju jitsu and muay thai practitioner... sigh... GG...

  • @wubs23 probably when your in a padded studio but in the real world anything can happen

  • @wubs23 some people do not know how to break falls like us.

  • @williamjpiano @wubs23 yes, and some people do not land on soft mats, probably hard concrete ^^

  • @wubs23

What if there's a spike at the place where he lands on his back? :P

  • @wubs23 you werent doing it on concrete were you, youve been doing it on matts with other students of judo.

  • @wubs23 did you try it on concrete surface?

  • @wubs23 but you should consider this in a street fight, if you throw a guy on a concrete he may face serious injury

  • @wubs23 err i dont know where you learnt your judo but any throw can cause serious injury or paralysis, you have to remember we're talking about doing this to someone who doesnt know how to fall properly, and on concrete, it all depends on how they land so imo yes it can cause serious injury if done on concrete in a self defense situation where someone does not know how to land properly however the chances are slim but it can happen especially if done correctly with full force

  • @Brady2k10 did you know judo used different strikes, not just throws, before it became a sport and I think they also used kicks but i can't remember.

  • @Brady2k10

yes but still judo isnt really self defence its a sport.

it can be used but realistically you arent going to put anyone in hospital unless you kick them in the face after you throw them.

  • @Confusedfurry no its a martial art as well, it was a martial art first and still is a martial art, its also a sport as well, if i threw you on solid concrete and i done it on purpose with my full strength behind it, trust me you could easily break your back, or your hip or your arm or your shoulder, any of those if you fail to land properly and unless you are a judoka or practice another grappling art you wont know how to fall without breaking something, most put their hand out when they fall

  • @Brady2k10

i did judo for 2 years and im pretty sure the worst you will do is wind someone. even on concrete, judo really isnt designed to cripple someone. the most useful parts are the holds and pins and i expect you could do a fair bit of damage if you apply those a little too strongly, but unless someone falls extremely stupidly i doubt you will break a hip or a back.

  • @Confusedfurry If i throw you and put my weight on you while you fall, it'll break a rib.

  • @OVERCAPITALIZE

well derp, if you jump on me you will break something.

  • @Confusedfurry derpity.

  • @Confusedfurry Umm no, the most you could do is kill someone ive been doing judo, Jiu Jitzu and Mhai Thai for 8 years. Just a double leg take down can deliver a force that could make the person, break there back or ribs, break a hip or shoulder or hit there head on the ground, with ease. Causing mild concussion to death. yes it isn't designed to mane somebody but it could happen easily.

  • @FreshOriginality

double leg takedown isnt "true" judo in most peoples books.

  • @Confusedfurry I was just saying EVEN a double leg take down could cause serious injury, so just think what a successful Judo throw would do.

  • @FreshOriginality

i was just pointing that out.

  • @Brady2k10 totally agree with your statement. Americans espeically forget how easily a person can get severely injured when they watch trained MMA fighters taking punches and throws in a ring. Or watching youtube videos of people getting in sever car accidents and walking out unscathed. I mean...didn't one of the kennedy's get killed from playing ski football when he hit a tree? and how many people die a year from falling in the shower....

  • @Brady2k10 Uchi mata is king throw. Fall is alwaus serious!!

  • @Brady2k10 The problem with judo is that people don't go around in Kimonos (not where I live...). Good luck throwing this move on someone wearing a t-shirt-

  • @mainmenu895 there are many different techniques in judo, as soon as you said this i pictured which one id use against you if we had a fight, although you'd have to start it

  • @mainmenu895 LOL you can be as shirtless as the day you were born and it wouldn't save you from Uchi Mata.

  • @Brady2k10 Couldnt find wubs23 post back, so correct me if I am wrong.

But I think he meant that judo is more a defensive ma when compared to karate ( example )

I am NOT saying it is bad, but judo is widely known ( in my country ) as a self defence arts.

  • @wubs23 i know i used to do judo and ive been uchi matad many times no way it could cause paralyzis

  • @wubs23 throw someone on asphalt on concrete like that and there is a big chanse of extreme injury. That is the biggest reason why in a streefight situations judo is way too dangerous because your not throwing your opponent on a tatami(which absorbs most of the impact), but your throwing him on something that absorbs nothing and the force of the impact is going to his bones.

  • @wubs23 i did it for 24 years and was british champ.

I have a broken disk in my neck caused from being thrown on geemats.

Dont dismiss the power of the ground so much

  • @wubs23 obviously not in a dojo! have you used it many times in the street with people who doesn't practice judo?!

  • @wubs23

Well.. What if the person smashes their head/vertebrae on the ground with enough force?

  • @wubs23 please stop replying. i get like 10 messages a day about this. i dont care what you did or think.

  • @wubs23 try landing the head... or make your opponent's neck crack w/ that move.

  • @wubs23 what about without those protected floors? in concrete or a street?

  • Comment removed

  • @wubs23 Falling on a concrete from a fast uchi-mata WILL break something. Even if you know how to fall.

  • @wubs23 What if they landed on their head? Seems pretty likely if they do

  • @wubs23 lol, much appreciated sarcasm, THANK YOU.

  • @wubs23 "I done wrestling for 10 years, and a suplex has never paralyzed someone before."

  • @OVERCAPITALIZE Ive been driving 17 years and ive never seen anyone killed in a car accident does that mean it dosnt happen?!!! Underestimate somthing like this you will be on dangerous ground!! Learn train safely with propper equipment and supervision and you will reduce the risk but never underestimate it!!

  • @imajeed2 You didn't have to reply to me... Could have just replied that wubs23

  • @wubs23 oh i beg to differ wubs i've been doin it 4 over 30yrs and oh yes it sure can. any throw that is done to some1 that is not in the art it will do loads of damage to them.

  • @wubs23 how can you tell that no one will ever get a serious injury or paralysis? any kind of trip tackle or throw has the chance of paralysing or injuring the person you are throwing/tripping/tackling

  • magaria

  • Uchi mata. The best way to beat someone who is better at ground fighting than you. Especially when you land in knee mount as they go to the ground.

  • why sliver people and not real people ?

  • @cresentchen On the show, they demonstrate techniques in real life before explaining them with the animation models.

  • @cresentchen

    Damn racist

  • Paralysis FUUUCK YEAH

  • if your opponent is heavy he/she will bring u down with her.LOL

  • great!

  • You do not need to wear a shirt. Grip on the wrists, sholders, skin, head all wok in the street just fine. Tried and true. Also, this throw can be done by someone who is trained extremely fast. Anyone who says different, has never trained in throws.

  • FYI ... you also need that other guy wear a shirt for this movement

  • @carlosz013 u dont need clothes to perform this throw u can grab the wrist

  • @carlosz013 I personally use an under-over hook or a wrestler's clinch. Believe me, it is highly effective. The beauty of judo is that most of the throws can be done from equal advantage positions. Most wrestling throws are done from advantaged positions (such as double-underhook)

  • Freddy Mercuri Prateado dando um sacode no mlk, kkkkkk

  • People like to thumbs up the most retarded comments.

  • Deadly....

  • omfg serious injury? the worst that can happen is the leg going up the balls... >.< these dudes are like judo can seriously injure you, yeah you can get kicked in the balls, or land incorrectly on you back or neck, that it...

  • @Rand0mGameStuff hes a tip for you dont speak about a martial art that u do not do and assume u know what happens and im a judoka and trust me u can get hurt why do u think broken arms? knee ligament tissues, shoulder dislocation, elbow dislocation, broken ankle and sometimes a broken neck however neck injuries dont happen often they r rare but if uchimata was applied on u with full technique no mercy u wuld be hurt in one way or another

  • @alphie10

Exactly, Thank you fellow judoka....... This throw is executed so fast even a 30 year student/shodan has trouble slapping the mat for a break fall, and believe me... I know how! perhaps O Garuma would be to their liking? LOL

  • @stonedstew hahaha i hate this throw wen its done on me always gets my balls one way or another :/ i wuld prefer being thrown by o guruma tbh haha

  • @alphie10

Well done incorrectly ones balls can be busted rather well with the reep, however done correctly the reep as you know is planted on the inside of uke thigh... So when done correctly the balls come together at the end and really freakin hurt... but only once...hehe... a cup helps.... a little...

  • @stonedstew hahahaha lmao very true...what belt are you?

  • @alphie10

Ni-kyu in Judo.... Shodan in Shotokan

  • @stonedstew ni kyu which is blue belt is im correct? and wow shodan in karate impressive however i wuld say judo is much harder than harder and more effective dont you think?

  • @alphie10

Ni Kyu is second degree Brown, one rank under shodan... Judo is great and blends well with Shotokan karate..We have throws in Shotokan that came directly From Judo and judo's etemi waza strikes most likely come from Shotokan... Gichen funokoshi the founder of Shotokan was good friends with Jigoro Kano the founder of Judo. funokoshi first taught shotokan at the "Kodokan" judo Dojo before building his own Dojo in toyko ..

  • @Rand0mGameStuff especially if u dont know how to breakfall

  • nothing of this is iportant - if you are a sayajin

  • love it man nice job

  • cause even paralysis??...what bullshit

  • @MrKubricky dude if you try throwing someone on the concrete with enough force like that they can die

  • @MrKubricky its truee it can caz paralysis if u do not know how to break fall judokas know how to breakfall but if u did this technique to someone wo doesnt do judo and they fell on the neck it culd caz paralysis but mostly its a low risk but a very very good chance of breaking ur hand

  • @MrKubricky how stupid can you be. even if you threw someone down with little technique on concrete or other hard floor of course there can be much more serious damage. the only bullshit here is that you were smart enough to create your own youtube account,

  • I like how the darker dude doesn't even try.

  • at school bully: hey you i going to kick your ass :me more like kiss :bully tries to attack and i do this me:what now bitch
