  • where can i get the schematics for this?

  • My God!!!! You are a genius. How do ppl even think to do stuff like this!

  • Awesome set of mods. I modified a 'broken' Korg Poly-800 myself. The filter is fantastic.

  • This is frankly fucking awesome. There. I said it.

  • Couldn't you post the link to the schematics nad stuff here? I would very much like to do the same thing... I did that to my Poly800 and always wondered if there was a way to mod the Poly61...

  • This is great!!! Way to save a nearly useless synth! Maybe i should grab one in the future =o]

  • Oh by the way - what is your website? I have a p-61 that I am currently messing around with. I would love to check out your shematic if I could?

  • I envy you.

  • awsome!

  • i would love to do this to my poly 61 could you email me the schematics please

  • @treydiggy

happy to, but I need your email address! if you got to my webpage, you can get mine and then I can email the schematics to you.

  • I'm getting one for free from someone, but he tells me all the keys don't work, it can only be triggered by midi. Any thoughts of how to fix that?

  • Nice! Can't wait to see the schematics. How difficult would it be to do volume controls for each DCO and maybe have some sort of AM effect for DCO1 ?

  • thanks. Schematics are available. if you go to my webpage, you can get my email address and I can send them to you.

I had planned to do volume controls for each dco, as well as each harmonic of dco2 - it would have been pretty straightforward but you'd have to do a bit of circuit design and do it for all 6 voices, which was more desoldering and thinking than I wanted to do at that point!

  • @rolandsh1000 Very Sweet. I am excited to see your schematics.

  • wow, i think that has at least as much control as my old polysix did, if not more.

  • thanks!

the parts for the mods are all really inexpensive: Mouser 16mm pots, SPDT and 3PDT toggle switches and the knobs from Allelectronics. that's it - all the sound circuitry is in there waiting to be modified.

I will be posting the schematics with the modifications to my cheapy website within a few days. stay tuned!
