  • Without question the greatest Eagle defensve player and likely the greatest Philadelphia Eagle of all time. R-E-G-G-I-E, R-E-G-G-I-E!!!

  • OMG this is a nice tribute but this damn song is played on alot of tributes. You should have played a Gospel song out of respect for the Player and the minister of God

  • What a fag ass song for this video! Its Football dumb fuck!

  • Reggie White was and will always, ALWAYS be a legend. He was a beast!

R.I.P. Reggie White, the Minister of Defense

  • Mad love to the "Minister of Defense"..........gone but never forgotten!

  • That motherfucker was super humanly strong... even compared to 300lb. NFL offensive linemen.

  • thumbs up if you watched this video on mute

  • thumbs up if youre an eagles fan

  • go vols! RIP reggie

  • Corny music much?

  • Greatest end of all time, I think greatest defensive player of all time. I lived in South Jersey in the 1980's and 90's and Reggie lived in Washignton Twp. He lived across from my High School. My friend lived in his development and we passed Reggie's house many times. This was when he played for the Eagles, Philadelphia was 25 minutes from our town right across from Camden just cross the Ben Franklin Bridge. He was known for being religous and a great guy. God Bless you Reggie White. R.I.P.

  • Reggie was a force on and off the field to be reckoned with "truly missed" RIP

  • Reggie and Decan Jones were the best ever, hands down...

  • no offense to Reggie, but Richard Dent and Bruce Smith were better

  • @flowerdrop1 Offense taken, Question- Are you retarded? There never was, and there is not presently a defensive end better than the late great Minister of Defense Reggie White, and I've seen them all junior, Eller, Jones, ect ect ect, Bruce Smith isn't even in their league, Dent was in the top ten, but better than White? PLEASEEEEEE!

  • @greenmean1 Dent anchored the best defense ever on the 85' Bears. Smith racked up more sacks than White while playing in a 3-4 system, whereas White played in 4-3 that favors linemen getting sacks. Get your facts straight

  • @flowerdrop1 I've got the facts straight smarty pants, Bruce Smith was soft and the only reason he had more sacks than Reggie is because this primadonna played more seasons and he only played more just to break White's record, Dent was a great player me being from Wisconsin (Packer fan) saw Dent play twice a year, the 85 Bears had all pros along their line and great line backers that made Dent what he was, Dent was a great one Smith not so much, Reggie the greatest ever!!

  • rip reggie white but i call him reggie rock

  • Another Philly sports legend! RIP brutha!

  • @zootedsuit

    And a GB legend !!!!

    God bless him!

  • reggie white was a very good christian man

  • um why dont u have more packer pictures of him thats when he was great

  • "Reggie White was the most Dominating defensive player to ever lace up the shoes. He could completely take away your right side offense. He was unblockable. At 6'6" and 305 pounds, he was as quick as a cat, off the line, and could run slow developing plays down from behind. He was impossible to stop. You literally could only hope to slow him down. He was the amazing freakshow I've ever had the pleasure to watch, and the displeasure of coaching against. He was simply, the greatest. "Mike Ditka

  • Reggie white was part of the best packers defense ever he helped take them to the super bowl 2 times I also have his jersey i've had it since the superbowl the first time and will always. I don't wear it bc its special... GO PACK GO

  • To the best defensive end in the game RIP!!! But more importantly a man of Yah...blessings to his family!!!

  • Best defensive lineman ever to play the game. GO PACK GO

  • RIP Reggie! He was a class act, a true role model and a GREAT player. I wore #92 in HS because of Reggie. I was so upset when Brahman just let him leave the Eagles but I was glad to see him win a Superbowl. It's a true shame that classy guys like Reggie, Harry Kalas, Roger Neilsen, and Jim Johnson all passed away young and then a true scumbag like Norman Brahman is still alive!

  • ONLY PICTURE , THATS SUCK MAN !

  • Reggie White was and still is the best defensive lineman to ever wear the Orange and White, RIP Reggie you are a legend.

  • Reggie White was not just representative what it means to be a great player; in my mind he was one of those select few players that proved what it means to have heart. RIP Reggie White

  • Merlin Olsen was better.

  • forever an EAGLE

  • People who call Reggie White a bigot and homophobic, beware, because you're calling God himself a bigot and homophobic. - Reggie White. RIP!

  • R.I.P. Reggie White.

  • John Madden calls reggie his favorit player of all time

  • you are not alone... :) I love Reggie THE BEST of all NFL too! He was the only player that truly took his greatness off the field as well as on it!

  • @WILDDOG42651 Yes, He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word!

  • fuck you. your a fuckin dick head. wow your a piece of shit. u racist asshole

  • Amen Brother.

  • Reggie will always be an EAGLE first. He played more years here, had his best numbers here and he is loved here. No disrespect to the Packers fans though because I know they love and respect him too.

  • Agreed. I am a Packer fan and we are very grateful for the years we had him. There's no way the Packers win the Superbowl without him!

  • He won a super bowl in GB

  • Forget the sutff about him being a homophobe..that's obviously fine

  • Reggie was the best I ever saw.

  • we will always love u reggie go birds

  • I feel sorry for Philly fans as Reggie will always be remembered as a Packer....

  • I feel glad for Packers fans that Reggie was still able to produce over 60 sacks for them despite being well into his 30s by the time he went there.

  • @kingarthurup Um...not. His best years statistically were in Philly.

  • @whatwhat689

    Um... not.

I guess you mean where he won the superbowl in Philiadelphia....LOL

  • Comment removed

  • @kingarthurup No, he meant what he said... "statistically". His stats were better in Philly. His best individual years were in Philly. That's all. Look up his stats and look at sacks and tackles. In '87 he had 21 sacks in 12 games! He didn't go to GB until he was 32. I get that he was part of a Super Bowl team, but that's a team accomplishment. He didn't do that on his own.

  • @techworker05

Of course they were, what I said is that he won the ring in Green Bay..I know Reggie's career year by year. I met him twice, but I know which statistic he thought was best, he wore it on his finger. the STATISTIC THAT EVERY PRO VALUES MOST! AND SO DO THE FANS DER

I find it cute how Philly fans went from hating him to claiming him after he died LOL

  • @kingarthurup I was glad to see him win a ring. That's a team accomplishment. Where was his name made? What made him the most sought after free agent in history? Had he retired after the '92 season would he be in Canton still?

He was never hated in Philly... The fans even held a rally to try and convince him to stay. I think what you're referring to is resentment when he left (which fades). I'm sure it's the same with Brett Favre... That will fade in time too.

  • @techworker05

Philadelphia made Reggie a sought after free agent. Green Bay brought him legend. We can argue back and forth about this all day... perhaps the hall handled it right.

  • @kingarthurup I agree, the hall did handle it right.

  • @techworker05

at least either way, he is wearing Green, and tonight we both hate the Cowboys!...LOL

    COMMON GROUND!

  • @techworker05

AP story: MILWAUKEE _ When Reggie White is inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Aug. 5, he won't go in as a Green Bay Packer or a Philadelphia Eagle. He will go in simply as Reggie White.

  • @techworker05

There has been much discussion among football fans regarding the late legendary defensive end's induction and whether his wife, Sara, would have to choose between the two teams for which White played. But according to Hall of Fame vice president of communications Joe Horrigan, there is no reference to a specific team on the bust that resides in the Hall of Fame.

  • @kingarthurup i went to every home game reggie played for philly in veterans stadium- he was by far my favorite eagles player of all-time to watch live (desean is a close second)

my point is philly fans never hated him, they just wanted him to stay in philly and not leave

  • @techworker05

PS... Babe Ruth had better pitching stats in Boston, that is why he will always be remembered as a Red Sox..LOLwow I am awed by the Philadelphia fan logic.

  • the bible speak against homosexuals read what happened to Soddom. Heavymetalrulz123 he's a man of God!

  • You say minister, I say Amy. You say lie, I say blamey. You say Lord, I say Christ, I don't believe in Peter Pan, Frankenstein or Superman!

  • So, now that Reggie White has died, who makes a better minister these days?

  • There will never be another Minister of Defense...or a defensive end (aswell as a person) as good as Reggie White.

  • Get to the point, nimrod. Which celebrity minister is better than the late Reggie White?

  • REGGIE REGGIE REGGIE REGGIE i loved him, greatest deffensive end ever in the nfl i wish he was still alive no matter what team he would have played for he would have been a legend and he still is a legend and it will never change RIP REGGIE

  • god!!!!! why did he die!!!! i was his biggest fan! i wish he was alive. but that will never come true. R.I.P reggie!

  • wawawawawawawawawawa R.I.P. :(((((

  • makes me cry

  • Reggie is a legend. If anyone says anything bad like jameskharper their comment shoud be taken off. Reggie was a great player and person. R.I.P.#92 GO VOLS!!!

  • A great football player and even a greater man that spoke the Truth in spite of all the heat he faced!!

  • sad :( i miss him

  • good tribute but music doesnt fit im sorry lol callin him baby and whatnot :P

  • they really need to put him in the hall of fame dude was literally one of the best ever and theres no one that even comes close to his talent or heart OR his love of the game

  • wow u must live in a cave . . . they put him in two years ago

  • you must be gay.

  • yea honesly fuck u he was a great player nd i herd he was a good guy

  • you wanna talk homophobes. check out every nfl player. thats all they can say to each other for shit talk. your gay. fag. make sure you spell right when your trying to sound smart.

  • Being gay is a sin, I against it also!

  • Comment removed

  • Goth? I removed my comment because it sounded ignorant. I think Reggie White was just misinformed.

  • He doesnt miss you either "FAG"

  • cheers

  • why do u say that because he followed god and didn't except a sick, sinful, perverted behavior like homosexuality.

  • spell right u fuckin prick now respect reggie u mothafucker this is his goddamn fucking tribute now talk your shit somewhere else besides here

  • he wore 91 in his rookie season...

  • If anyone of you gets a chance, get Reggie's biography called "In the Trenches"

I am reading it right and it is a fantastic book. A must read.

  • do u know what the term in the trenches meens about football

  • Just another reason why everyone in Philly hated Norman Braman. Letting Reggie walk was criminal. Reggie loved Philly and didn't want to leave. His best years were in Philly(the '91 D was one of the greatest ever) but he finally won a championship in Green Bay. Ironically,if not for GB's Bryce Paup's cheap shot on Cunningham in week 1 of the '91 season Reggie would've won a championship in Philly. That defesne was just plain nasty. They finished 10-6 with five different QB's that year.

  • ForeignerPhan I have to agree with you on that post. If I remember correctly. Bud Carson was the Def. Coordinater. He had that D #1 across the board (#1 against the run, pass and overall).

  • Why have I seen a few clips of Reggie in a #91 Jersey?

  • He made a living of owning people

  • He was the most succesfull on the packers so get more packers stuff on here moron! u suck at making vids!

  • r u kidding?...he made his name in philly..got his "minister of Defense" nickname in philly..21 sacks in 12 games in philly...led a MONSTER defense in philly...yes he got his ring in GB...but he was made in philly

  • He made his name at the University of Tennesee. So suck my orange Dick

  • Comment removed

  • this video makes me cry. not kidding. i love football and i have a couple favorites. Brett Favre, Reggie White and Donald Driver. Class Acts! im a packer fan and i know that reggie was an eagle, packer and a panther. we should all agree that he was one of the best ever not fight about the teams he played on. He was a strong man of God and a very nice person.

  • He was a Eagle.

Same as Deaocn was a ram

    Ditka was a Bear

If you make it good with the team you start with you are a "?"

For exemple if tomlinson would now go to some other team and win a superbowl he would still be a charger same as Brett will always be a packer

  • Hey for the record he was a panther to....

  • Double fail. One fail for the stills, one fail for the music.

Fucking Reggie White was a Packer. And he died a fucking Packer.

  • i thought he died a panther

  • that was my godfather...and i miss him R.I.P

    uncle reg

  • reggie was an Eagle not a packer not a panther he was a true Eagle thats why he retired as an Eagle

  • he retired a packer buddy

  • He retired twice. As a packer and a panther. And figuratively speaking he died a panther.

  • i hate how people say he was better in green bay. he was a true eagle. he bled green and silver. not green and yellow. he was a son of philadelphia. RIP Reggie.

  • Reggie White was one of the greatest defensive lineman ever to play football! its such a shame he died.

  • Go VOLS WE LOVE YOU REGGIE BEST MAN EVER TO PLAY ON THE VOLS D-LINE THANK YOU FOR THE MEMORIES

  • RIp Reggie We Will Miss You " Although im a Packer...I will always be remembered as an Eagle"

  • Thanks Coloss for the info, he looks like a beast. RIP

  • Did he die?

  • ya dec 26 2004

  • From what?

  • he had cardiac pulmonary sarcoidosis for years and that lead to a cardiac arythmia he also had sleep apnea wich also contributed to his death

  • no he just flew to fuckin china yes his dead do u no wat in loving memory is god

  • The Greatest Defensive Linemen of all-time

  • RIP REGGIE LOVE U MAN

  • First of all, thats not even true at all. Im a die hard eagles fan and in my mind he's in the top 10 of greatest defensemen in all time. Nothing to do with him being black or anything of the sort.

  • wat was the comment that made him a racist

  • @shwantz2 Take your trash elsewhere you piece of shit because obviously you dont know a thing about football.

  • REGGIE RIP

  • :-( RIP Reggie

  • Whoever made this is a moron why would you play this crap song and show picks of him in a panthers uniform

  • great point on the panther uniform. he's an Eagle and a Packer. I forgot about the Panthers.

  • Because its a review of his career. Im not just going to skip one team.

  • Whoever made this is a moron why would you play this crap song and show picks of him in a panthers uniform

  • Reggie White(Minaster Of Defence) was my hero!

  • why would you put this shitty song on a reggie white video?

  • this song sucks...I don't think reggie would have liked it. you should be ashamed.

  • The greatest Eagle ever.

  • Cunningham was

  • If I was a coach ,instead of rantin about what in them,id show them vids of players like Reggie and id say ,this is what I want you to aspire to be,RIP Reggie

  • He's just the greatest D-Lineman i've ever seen!!!

  • all time eagle (giants &dallas cheat) E-A-G-L-E-S! GO EAGLES

  • A true Eagle till the end. He's not a packer, he's not a panther. He's a fucking Eagle forever and always.

  • What is wrong with you. You have no respect for him just by the comment you made. He went to Green Bay for a reason and that was to win a championship which he did. He was Loved everywhere he went. It don't matter where he started out playing. And if he were a true eagle till the he would have retired a eagle. This goes for all you eagle fans. Can't you just get enough by saying we watched a very special person play for our team or something. GREEDY GREEDY Fans Get over yourself

  • I wish Norman Braman would have felt that way. But unfortunately, he was a cold-hearted cheapskate. It's a shame that the world lost a great human being in White, while a scumbag like Braman is still alive!

  • Hes in heaven with our lord and saviour jesus christ

  • IT makes me sad

  • I loved Reggie. He deserved to be in the Hall of Fame.

  • Best man ever in the NFL. To be honest I had cried the morning he passed away. Very sad to see a 43 year old man to go. R.I.P. Reggie and you will never be forgotten.

  • THE most dominant defensive end i ever seen

21 sacks in 12 games set the bar for class and hustle...miss watchin BIG 92 in Eagle green...i know he won a SB in green bay...but he'll always be an EAGLE to me

  • Greatest Eagle of all time and my personally my favorite of all time. He had good years in Green Bay too. May he RestInPeace. Amen...

  • dont ask how he died

  • he was amazing howd he die??

  • White had suffered a fatal cardiac arrhythmia. The most likely cause of this, according to the Mecklenburg County Medical Examiner's Office, was the cardiac and pulmonary sarcoidosis that he had lived with for years. It was also stated that sleep apnea, which White was known to suffer from may have contributed to his death.

  • Mr. White was a freind to our family here in Charlotte. All time great MAN.

  • still wearing the jersey of the minister of defence hell ya reggie white forever
