OMG this is a nice tribute but this damn song is played on alot of tributes. You should have played a Gospel song out of respect for the Player and the minister of God
Greatest end of all time, I think greatest defensive player of all time. I lived in South Jersey in the 1980's and 90's and Reggie lived in Washignton Twp. He lived across from my High School. My friend lived in his development and we passed Reggie's house many times. This was when he played for the Eagles, Philadelphia was 25 minutes from our town right across from Camden just cross the Ben Franklin Bridge. He was known for being religous and a great guy. God Bless you Reggie White. R.I.P.
@flowerdrop1 Offense taken, Question- Are you retarded? There never was, and there is not presently a defensive end better than the late great Minister of Defense Reggie White, and I've seen them all junior, Eller, Jones, ect ect ect, Bruce Smith isn't even in their league, Dent was in the top ten, but better than White? PLEASEEEEEE!
@greenmean1 Dent anchored the best defense ever on the 85' Bears. Smith racked up more sacks than White while playing in a 3-4 system, whereas White played in 4-3 that favors linemen getting sacks. Get your facts straight
@flowerdrop1 I've got the facts straight smarty pants, Bruce Smith was soft and the only reason he had more sacks than Reggie is because this primadonna played more seasons and he only played more just to break White's record, Dent was a great player me being from Wisconsin (Packer fan) saw Dent play twice a year, the 85 Bears had all pros along their line and great line backers that made Dent what he was, Dent was a great one Smith not so much, Reggie the greatest ever!!
"Reggie White was the most Dominating defensive player to ever lace up the shoes. He could completely take away your right side offense. He was unblockable. At 6'6" and 305 pounds, he was as quick as a cat, off the line, and could run slow developing plays down from behind. He was impossible to stop. You literally could only hope to slow him down. He was the amazing freakshow I've ever had the pleasure to watch, and the displeasure of coaching against. He was simply, the greatest. "Mike Ditka
Reggie white was part of the best packers defense ever he helped take them to the super bowl 2 times I also have his jersey i've had it since the superbowl the first time and will always. I don't wear it bc its special... GO PACK GO
RIP Reggie! He was a class act, a true role model and a GREAT player. I wore #92 in HS because of Reggie. I was so upset when Brahman just let him leave the Eagles but I was glad to see him win a Superbowl. It's a true shame that classy guys like Reggie, Harry Kalas, Roger Neilsen, and Jim Johnson all passed away young and then a true scumbag like Norman Brahman is still alive!
Reggie White was not just representative what it means to be a great player; in my mind he was one of those select few players that proved what it means to have heart. RIP Reggie White
reggie white is my favroite player of all time out of all of the player in the history of the NFL reggie white is the best plus he plays my favroite spot P.S. GO PACK GO
Reggie will always be an EAGLE first. He played more years here, had his best numbers here and he is loved here. No disrespect to the Packers fans though because I know they love and respect him too.
@kingarthurup No, he meant what he said... "statistically". His stats were better in Philly. His best individual years were in Philly. That's all. Look up his stats and look at sacks and tackles. In '87 he had 21 sacks in 12 games! He didn't go to GB until he was 32. I get that he was part of a Super Bowl team, but that's a team accomplishment. He didn't do that on his own.
Of course they were, what I said is that he won the ring in Green Bay..I know Reggie's career year by year. I met him twice, but I know which statistic he thought was best, he wore it on his finger. the STATISTIC THAT EVERY PRO VALUES MOST! AND SO DO THE FANS DER
I find it cute how Philly fans went from hating him to claiming him after he died LOL
@kingarthurup I was glad to see him win a ring. That's a team accomplishment. Where was his name made? What made him the most sought after free agent in history? Had he retired after the '92 season would he be in Canton still?
He was never hated in Philly... The fans even held a rally to try and convince him to stay. I think what you're referring to is resentment when he left (which fades). I'm sure it's the same with Brett Favre... That will fade in time too.
Philadelphia made Reggie a sought after free agent. Green Bay brought him legend. We can argue back and forth about this all day... perhaps the hall handled it right.
AP story: MILWAUKEE _ When Reggie White is inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Aug. 5, he won't go in as a Green Bay Packer or a Philadelphia Eagle. He will go in simply as Reggie White.
There has been much discussion among football fans regarding the late legendary defensive end's induction and whether his wife, Sara, would have to choose between the two teams for which White played. But according to Hall of Fame vice president of communications Joe Horrigan, there is no reference to a specific team on the bust that resides in the Hall of Fame.
@kingarthurup i went to every home game reggie played for philly in veterans stadium- he was by far my favorite eagles player of all-time to watch live (desean is a close second)
my point is philly fans never hated him, they just wanted him to stay in philly and not leave
PS... Babe Ruth had better pitching stats in Boston, that is why he will always be remembered as a Red Sox..LOLwow I am awed by the Philadelphia fan logic.
REGGIE REGGIE REGGIE REGGIE i loved him, greatest deffensive end ever in the nfl i wish he was still alive no matter what team he would have played for he would have been a legend and he still is a legend and it will never change RIP REGGIE
Reggie is a legend. If anyone says anything bad like jameskharper their comment shoud be taken off. Reggie was a great player and person. R.I.P.#92 GO VOLS!!!
they really need to put him in the hall of fame dude was literally one of the best ever and theres no one that even comes close to his talent or heart OR his love of the game
you wanna talk homophobes. check out every nfl player. thats all they can say to each other for shit talk. your gay. fag. make sure you spell right when your trying to sound smart.

Thank you for saying he was another homophobic idiot. I use to like him, but when he talked shit about gay people, he turned me off. How would he like it if people talked shit about him being black? Called him the N word?
Just another reason why everyone in Philly hated Norman Braman. Letting Reggie walk was criminal. Reggie loved Philly and didn't want to leave. His best years were in Philly(the '91 D was one of the greatest ever) but he finally won a championship in Green Bay. Ironically,if not for GB's Bryce Paup's cheap shot on Cunningham in week 1 of the '91 season Reggie would've won a championship in Philly. That defesne was just plain nasty. They finished 10-6 with five different QB's that year.
ForeignerPhan I have to agree with you on that post. If I remember correctly. Bud Carson was the Def. Coordinater. He had that D #1 across the board (#1 against the run, pass and overall).
r u kidding?...he made his name in philly..got his "minister of Defense" nickname in philly..21 sacks in 12 games in philly...led a MONSTER defense in philly...yes he got his ring in GB...but he was made in philly
this video makes me cry. not kidding. i love football and i have a couple favorites. Brett Favre, Reggie White and Donald Driver. Class Acts! im a packer fan and i know that reggie was an eagle, packer and a panther. we should all agree that he was one of the best ever not fight about the teams he played on. He was a strong man of God and a very nice person.
i hate how people say he was better in green bay. he was a true eagle. he bled green and silver. not green and yellow. he was a son of philadelphia. RIP Reggie.

Just like Obamas pastor, everybody conveniently forgets what a racict this bigot was. If he were caucasion & made the statements he made, there would be no trubute videos. Double standards. RIP? I say Agony in Hell racist bigot.
First of all, thats not even true at all. Im a die hard eagles fan and in my mind he's in the top 10 of greatest defensemen in all time. Nothing to do with him being black or anything of the sort.
If I was a coach ,instead of rantin about what in them,id show them vids of players like Reggie and id say ,this is what I want you to aspire to be,RIP Reggie
What is wrong with you. You have no respect for him just by the comment you made. He went to Green Bay for a reason and that was to win a championship which he did. He was Loved everywhere he went. It don't matter where he started out playing. And if he were a true eagle till the he would have retired a eagle. This goes for all you eagle fans. Can't you just get enough by saying we watched a very special person play for our team or something. GREEDY GREEDY Fans Get over yourself
I wish Norman Braman would have felt that way. But unfortunately, he was a cold-hearted cheapskate. It's a shame that the world lost a great human being in White, while a scumbag like Braman is still alive!
Best man ever in the NFL. To be honest I had cried the morning he passed away. Very sad to see a 43 year old man to go. R.I.P. Reggie and you will never be forgotten.
21 sacks in 12 games set the bar for class and hustle...miss watchin BIG 92 in Eagle green...i know he won a SB in green bay...but he'll always be an EAGLE to me
White had suffered a fatal cardiac arrhythmia. The most likely cause of this, according to the Mecklenburg County Medical Examiner's Office, was the cardiac and pulmonary sarcoidosis that he had lived with for years. It was also stated that sleep apnea, which White was known to suffer from may have contributed to his death.
u fag he was preaching his religion and i hate to break it to you if you are homosexual you are going to hell. Every religion says it sorry dude have fun hope u like warm weather.
Without question the greatest Eagle defensve player and likely the greatest Philadelphia Eagle of all time. R-E-G-G-I-E, R-E-G-G-I-E!!!

A true Eagle till the end. He's not a packer, he's not a panther. He's a fucking Eagle forever and always.
