But yeah, Bands are great, u feel it on the push and pull, u have to control it all the way threw, I use it in my boxing and kick boxing training! Just try doing 10 kicks with the band.... Its a great tool!
It depends how strong you are. If you can't do more than 10 reps with the resistance band then you will probabily build mass AND strength until you will be able to do let's say 15.

Resistance bands work like any resistance,you vary your rep range to suit your goals.They are very good for explosive exeercises that build power
