  • This is called being smart not lucky.....so many are dead today because they panic and don't know how to think their way out of danger....all the guy did was steer in the direction his tires was going and that saved him.

  • Are you fuking kiding me?

That happened to me like at 120 and my car was done u.u

    This guy is awesome

  • if that was mercedes the driver would now be dead ^^

  • Lucky as shit!

  • That goddamn claxon in the song... I woulda died.

  • That's Mario Kart shit right there. Like a boss.

  • What's the name of the song?

By the way, holy shit dude awesome control.

  • I didnt see any oil on the road, but nice control of the car, i honestly would have driving into every car on the road, and barrel rolled off the side if it was me! lol.

  • This was here in Portugal, because i know the radio :o

  • holy shit nice save!

  • he is doing saudi drift XD

  • Hell of a save!! Good job bro! LIKE A BOSS!

  • caralho vc pilota em!!

  • the music in the end xD

  • He CAN drive!

  • It's all in the music that he listens to! :)

Respect to this guy's reflexes and skills!

  • lucky, but i've spun out of control on accident before on gravel and he shouldn't have swung the other way if he was so skilled

  • @mcrissjr Pavement isnt the same as gravel.

  • @thedriver97 correct, it's harder.

  • @mcrissjr Its called snap oversteer, even professional drivers have trouble with it.

  • like a boss.

  • i hope he wore his brown cuordroys that day

  • Note to self: Do not drive 90 miles an hour on slick tires. (Or 150 kph on slick tyres, if you please.) I have spun out twice in my life at speeds like that. Once I was going over the hill from San Jose CA, USA to Santa Cruz. There was a semi approaching fast. (Sorry, I do not know the Brit word for semi.) I straightened the car out a second before it whizzed past. That certainly focuses ones attention. I drove at about 30 mph for the rest of the trip, watching the rear view mirror.

  • pretty good save nice reflexs, poor skills though all he did was put it on the stops and hope for the best, if he would have had some skills he wouldnt have over corrected twice and cause 2 unneccasary skids.

  • @CODEEmx527 Easier said than done, because one cannot be sure whether the car is going to stick coming out of the correction or spin out again. If you over-correct a little, at least you will be losing some momentum to side-slip either way it goes.

  • Chuck Norris could have controlled that car without his hands on the wheel and blind folded....

  • @bestlude

this isn't 2009, Chuck Norris is getting old. Let's stop lying to ourselves.

  • am i the only one who though this was mariocart?

  • holy shit thats skill

  • IF that had been me...

I would have had to go home and change my shorts. Seriously awesome reaction and save.

  • Portuguese driver! :P not a AWD car.. it was an Audi A4 van.. was going to a trackday with semi or slick tires..

  • amazing reaction and skill from the driver

  • notice how he pulled over at the end, he either had to change his shorts, or catch his breath, or both. I would have pulled over to, right about then it's time to just chill out compose yourself maybe kiss the pavement

  • i just shit my pants for this guy

  • Would like to see an american car in the same situation...KABOOOOOOOM...

  • @PowerMirai85 you can look up amazing mustang driver lol

  • Audi POWER!

  • I can do that! in Lexus IS300. :D

  • German Car Driving at its BEST, CONGRATS!

  • Excellent save dude... Excellent!! Bet that woke you up...!!! :D

  • That's why I like Audi!!

  • Europe FTW

  • holy shit

  • Real good demo....!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • cool as a cucumber!

  • OH MY GOD thank god he didnt wreck

  • That was a damn nice save. In America, we'd go "Ehh" and throw our hands in the air....well, I wouldn't, the people who spend all their time eating McDonalds and Burger King will :P

  • damn good save,

  • before crash song: your time has come.

after crash song: I will be dancing.

    nice save

  • Nice driving!!!!!!

  • I WILL BE DANCIN!!! Not him, the car.

  • Now had it been here in America...Some fatty yacking on the cell phone eating a cheeseburger would have flipped their Suburban over 4 or 5 times.

  • nice work!!

  • he job... or else he couldn't have been dancing after that!

  • I done the same thing on Forza Motorsport 3. :D

  • Awesome skills ! it's actually refreshing to see some one else on the road that is actually capable of keeping control of their vehicle in a situation like that. Not just scream and slam on the brakes.

  • Handles!

  • When I do this kind of spin out in like Gran Turismo 5, I do the same reaction, but the car is never facing the correct forward position like he ended up.

Haha, I would've thought the Audi Quattro AWD system would've helped a bit more. Is it possible that RWD would've been significantly harder to control in the same situation?

  • It,s just that when this kind of _hit happens i get strange filing in may belly and it,s not pleasant...

  • A moment of silence, please- in respect of this guy's awesome control skills.

Probably didn't hurt that he had four rings on the steering wheel and, most likely, four wheels putting power down.

    Great job, whoever you are!

  • @Rick258442 Nothing to do with 4wd or it being an Audi. Without ESP he would be scrubbed off the fence.

  • @derbigpr500 It definitely had something to do with the car, but i totally agree on the ESP thing! Very well put, Bro!

  • this guy had to have soiled his pants...at least a little bit.

  • to bad the faggot didnt wreck and fall off the cliff..lmao that would had been funny as hell - stupid faggot speeding like that

  • @KYCHICKIE32 1) Are you jealous you can't do that? 2) You get into a situation like that and come out with a nice, ONE PIECE car 3) Go fast, break the speedometer as long as you know your car and have total control over it it's all it matters 4) Wrong place to insult.

    Have a pleasant evening :)

  • brown seat for sale!

  • Sweet save

  • The driver reacts awesome chilled, he does everything right, look how he thinks about a downshift at 0:48, but he knew he has enoug torque and rev to rule it out. very nice, respect from a test driver to you :)

  • @ThePowerranger112

I work in a test facility from audi in germany. I assure you that if your car is already drifting, ESP is a real bad thing. Slow driving in winter -> ESP on, all else ESP off.

sometimes, when theres enoug room on the tasttrack and I (provocated) begin to drift I switch off ESP and you can feel it in your "ass" that handling gets much better. because when you steer right to left etc, the amount of torque needed to keep wheels spinning varies so that esp can never rule it out

  • DRIFT!!!! LOL!!! nice save

  • That's called Audi guys.

  • THE TYRE!

  • @poopinsink I'm not attacking, but why would you mention the tire for anything other than it's ability to roll oil back onto the road surface?

This obviously had very little to do with the tire and nearly everything to do with the driver. It wasn't pretty, but he held it and gave the car what it needed to get back under control. -Human supercomputer.

  • @Rick258442 Lol, i was drunk and decided to type tire with a y. i wasn't even making a reference to the video. it was seriously just a random word.

  • Looking at it again, it might not even have the ESP system on it TBH, it looks like an older model, yes?

  • Not taking anything away from the driver OFC, was not my intent on the reply, just saying this would have been FAR harder a recover without the ESP system.

  • Ehhh.... it works fine on my 01' A6 4.2L..... We live in upstate NY, and have plenty of opportunity to "test" the ESP on ice ;-) You can actually feel it changing braking pressure levels to the different tires on the lake in slides. Perhaps it does shit its pants at first, but the system took over at some point, I assure you.

  • Audi Quattro.... the traction control did 90% of it for him.

  • @ThePowerranger112 no way man, traction and esp are set to stop the car ever getting that far, over oil or fluid there is so little grip the TC and ESP just shit themselves it actually makes it harder to catch the car. similar effect on ice.

  • haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa motha fucka

  • wow bro nice save that shit made me scared lol

  • last time i slid like that hit a telephone pole

  • nice save bro. more respect to ya

  • fucking mexican

  • damn control !!

  • THANKS GOD FOR THE STABILITY CONTROL

  • nice. i did that in my truck on the ice a week ago. unluckily the front end was overly attracted to the light pole :( i wish i coulda pulled that off!

  • Comment removed

  • I bet he was like " Fuck yeah! "

  • huge amounts of respect for that save ..b why was he recording ?

  • haha why was he recording this anyway

  • That my friends is what you call a good driver.

  • wow, bad ass driving skills

  • There ought to be a computer assisted over-steer prevention system that is mandatory in all cars.

  • lmao, hellz yeah!!!

  • It's an audi a4, has 4 wheel steering that shit handles.

  • good stuff man,

at 0:46 he was looking at his death. right over the edge of that cliff

  • gut gemacht digger

  • the radio's music congratulate the driver xD

  • big shit stain on seat now , Think Geico will cover it ?

  • This is a signal my friend from God... Don;'t run so fast again ...... You are very lucky!!!!!!!AUDI protection.... and very good driver....

  • I'd be driving off after that to a store to get some new pants!

  • Damnnnnn, your butthole is microscopic right now

  • that's fucking nightmarish

  • doubt it was 150 kph though.....at that speed it would have probably flipped more like 60-70 nice save all the same

  • Hahaha! 0:24 He says Quattro after he recovers as if he is blessing Audis fou wheel drive system xD

  • That's how to keep it between the guard rails.

  • Audi. Truth, in engineering.

  • Nice Reflects!!!! I wouldn't be sitting there on the side of the road for very long, you know someone else isn't going to react as quickly as he did. He's good but you know he shit himself during that! lol

  • douchebag, what a set up, did you retards watch it, good driver my ass

  • @jellytree1 what are you on about a set up? if it was a set up he would have pulled the hand brake to get the back sliding like that or floored it to get it sliding like that but the engine sound was constant. no matter what you say thats great driving skills right there

  • dude nice save!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow the same thing happened to me a while ago. I was cut off by someone going FORTY miles an hour on the highway (I was going ~80). I braked hard and turned at the same time which caused my 98 Ford Taurus to fishtail (I don't think I got as much angle as this guy did). I came about and inch close to the concrete barrier. I bet this guy was scared shit-less like I was lol.

  • dang dude you should be a sprint car driver

  • looks like he did it on purpose? or do we all always have cameras filming in our cars?

  • @Proyalty yeah but he risked his life on purpose to make a youtube vid...

  • You could have titled this video "Audi freeway powerslide" I would have totally bought it hahah, nice controll.

  • Good save!!!!

  • nice fucking car controll

  • top skillz

  • u think he shit himself...?

  • And this kids is why you drive with BOTH hands on the steering wheel. Not that one hand on top of the 12 'oclock position shit.

  • damn, he's a boss

  • This man is Portuguese, and this is in Portugal!

  • oIL SPILL? Or flat tire? Flat tire.

  • niice!!!

  • helps that the car was an Audi. they're either FWD or AWD

  • @g35dude0 It doesnt really, the easiest car to controll a slide is with RWD. 4WD and FWD is very hard to control a slide with on asphalt, espacially at high speeds and low HP output.

  • @ghoztmazta1

That is SO not true. FWD cars are probably the easiest to recover slides. Wny? Because you can control the amount of power to the wheels that correct the slide. All you need to do to save a slide in a FWD is to mash the gas and turn into it.
