@NeverAloneForever She ended up the wife of the James Woods character but .... bore Noodles' son and never told him. So he didn't see the boy until he went to the theater to see her. Yes, I'd say she got her revenge, all right.

@brief555 It was pathological in nature. Probably more than just a piece of ass. It was a mad reaction to rejection (especially after he gave her that big reservation). Also, she should have taken into account that he just got out of the pen. Hell yeah, that kiss
Not saying she deserved it; to all the wackjobs out there. I'm saying there are some folks that need a hell of a lot of leave alone.
@brief555 Well, in my life I always try to entertain. However, my mind wonders about things. I think I know why you responded to me with lmao. My overexplanation to the scene. "You think Mr. Grey would have sued if he had lived to see the film"? Eh?
@An0nEeMouse The sudden cruel event was something Leone always had in his films. It was that and the kiss. The other notable time Leone enveloped this idea was in Once Upon A Time In The West. When Frank (Henry Fonda) says "Now That You've Called Me By Name". The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly was full of 'em. Like Clint leaving Eli out in the desert.
In short, Leone thought humans were unpredictable and dangerous by nature.
P.S. You think Mr. Grey would have sued if he lived to see the film?
This scene got to me. Deborah was what got Noodles through prison, but even when they were kids she knew that unless he changed his criminal lifestyle she couldn't be with him. Even when they got older she still left because Hollywood was a better bet. Like noodles said to fat moe at the beginning, "you can tell the winners from the starting gate....if you would have bet on me you would have lost everything".
To me the rape of Deborah was the most tragic part of the film. Noodles put an insurmountable barrier between himself and what he wanted most life.

It's one of my favorite scenes in a movie...but so hard to watch the brutal rape of Deborah. Uncut on dvd it's tough to watch!!

@jili515
hahahahahahaha yes,
it wasn't the right choice, but damn if I wanted an ass so bad and knew there will be no chance getting it.
that's what you have to do.
but it was a bad choice, because she kissed him.
He could brought her home and shit, have normal sex

Why I was laughing my asshole off? because I felt like it.

@brief555 That's my question. What prompted you to feel that laughter? This rape prelude?

@NeverAloneForever
Every single fucking word you said made me laugh :D

Those last few seconds of this clip; where he decides to rape her?

He just couldn't control himself. It wasn't a premeditated attack on Deborah.
