I hate to double post and waste more time on this dreadful game, but the soundtrack is absolutely HORRID! The NES sound chip could make far better music than this piece of shit, just look at the original Ninja Gaiden and Castlevania series which came out roughly around the same time as this drivel. I love how the bosses sit there and take it. And level 3's music makes me want to take a goddamn butterfly knife and slash my fucking ears off. Sorry for the rant.

I loved this game back when I was a kid; it was one of the few we owned for the NES so it got played a ton. I remember so many of the levels and images, and trust me, as a kid the graphics I remembered looked so much more crisp than what the footage here shows. Sort of fascinating, but everything was familiar. Heh.

Oh those elements were courtesy of the late 1800 Tom Sawyer online fan fiction community. You obviously missed it b/c you weren't born yet, and b.c it didn't exist, but it was still crazy awesome enough for inclusion in this game. Isn't that enough?

There's another Tom Sawyer game for the NES, which interestingly enough is a Squaresoft RPG... it seems to have about as much to do with the book as this one.

It's not even dying in one hit that is the hardest element. The play control of this game is HORRID. In so far that reflex is completely discounted as the controls are not adequate to allowing the game player a chance to dodge enemies without pressing a button WELL in advance. The only way to beat the game is to memorize where every enemy is ahead of time... far be it from me to waste my time on a game like this, but more power to the person who did it for this vid!
