I think the game has got more challenging now. For instance, there is now a hunger bar meaning you cannot go working indefinitely even if you are never attacked. If you keep mining for long periods your hunger bar starts to go down and you must eat your pork chops to maintain strength, even if you still have 10 hearts in your health you must still eat regularly.

in the minecraft today: you have to zoom in with the bow and arrow for a couple of seconds and then you can shoot. You cant just click away. Also, you can't pick up the arrows you shot on the walls :(
