They're 2" aircraft aluminum. I bought 13ft and cut them in half. The 2" Aircraft Aluminum is the strongest and lightest, but you'll still get some bounce... That's just the nature of the beast.

what kind of poles did you use? I'm having trouble finding poles that don't bounce and can be packable. Thank you
