very good movie. awesome soundtrack by a great taiko group. also love how in this scene they at least had the ninjas wear outfits that blend in w/ the trains colors as opposed to the "let's stick ninjas in all black gis in broad daylight and on a light colored train." usual stick that hollywood tended to do especially in the 80's

I love the Samurai teachers calmness walking thru the back of the train to the front. Just another day at the office. I don't think the ninja even knew he was armed.

@ro332 well, it was pretty easy to see when he walked in. Plus; their ninja clan and his samurai family have been rivals for a very long time. They probably already recognized him and it's a safe bet that he wasn't just strolling around in the train

I love this movie, however, this is the most unrealistic scene. For one thing, the train is too long. If it were half that size then a handful of Ninjas could kill every passenger. Still, it would have expended too much energy and left the chance that there might be resistence or survivors. They most likely would have used poisonous gas or a bomb. Anyway, I still love this film and thanks for posting it.

I actually tracked down and got the whole film just to rewatch this scene. The train fight is made of pure awesome and win.

I would have preferred that Takeda had survived to the end, even though he was a total douchebag. Dude was crazy badass.
