I love Weller! but I don't think this song is for him. his voice is too upbeat for the song. It's not meant to be an upbeat song at all. Noels voice is more genuine and it easier to see what the whole meaning of it is. I liked his beatles reference. drugs all not fun. The song shows that drugs are one dark lonely road and it's more lonely than anything else.

I really like both versions for different reasons. To be honest, I find that nothing is quite the same as an Oasis song, which I love. Having said that, some of the covers are dazzling. :)
